Skoda Slavia Facelift India Launch 2026: 150 PS & Expected Price From ₹11 Lakh
The European automobile maker Skoda Auto, which is owned by the Volkswagen Group, introduced the Skoda Slavia back in February 2022 with a 1.0L TSI engine, and then the 1.5L TSI engine variant arrived in March 2022.
Reportedly, more than 75,000 units of the car as of February 2026 have been sold in India since its debut in India. To stay competitive in the Indian market, the carmaker is now all set to come with a facelift.
The Skoda Slavia facelift has been spotted testing multiple times on public roads. The most recent spy shots of testing come from Maharashtra; this time, it was also highly camouflaged, like earlier. Even after the multiple sightings, only a very few details about its exterior have emerged.
Moreover, along with this facelift, the market is also gearing up for these 5 upcoming car launches that could rival the new Slavia.

It is set to come with a revised front fascia with the redesigned grille to give it a cleaner, premium look; the LED headlights and DRLs (daylight running lights) are both tweaked to enhance its appearance. Even its front bumper is revised to add more sporty character.
For premium appeal, it gets new alloy wheels with better aerodynamic optimisation, and door handles remain the same to ensure practicality. At the rear, it features connected taillamps with the illuminated SKODA lettering to reflect brand identity.
There are no words from the carmaker about its interior, but it is expected to borrow many features for its sibling, the Skoda Kushaq Facelift, whose launch took place on March 21, 2026, with the ex-showroom price of ₹10.69 lakh to ₹18.99 lakh.
Its sibling, Kushaq, has a 10.1-inch infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard that supports both wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster showing driving data under the steering wheel; both of these are expected in the facelift of the Skoda Slavia.
The car comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2-3 with a cargo capacity of 571 litres, the same as the outgoing model. Some reports also mentioned the massage function for rear seats.
The single-pane electric sunroof, wireless charging, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, connected car tech, multi-function steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and 6 airbags are set to be retained as standard features.

It is confirmed that there are no major changes in its powertrain; the Skoda Slavia facelift is set to be offered with both 1.0 litre and 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engines.
The former engine has a power output and peak torque of 116 PS and 178 Nm, respectively, and is currently offered with two transmissions: 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT. The manual is all set to remain, but the automatic one will be replaced with an 8-speed AT. The latter engine generates the power of 150 PS and torque of 250 Nm; it is offered with only the 7-speed DSG transmission, and no changes are expected.
The drivetrain for both engine options is set to be front-wheel drive. The fuel efficiency for the 1.0 TSI engine variant is 20.32 km/l and 18.73 km/l with manual and automatic transmission, respectively. But with the new 8-speed AT, the fuel efficiency is likely to be better. The mileage for the 1.5 TSI variant is 19.36 km/l with DSG transmission and set to remain the same.
The outgoing model is available with the ex-showroom price between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹17.99 lakh, so the facelift is expected to cost ex-showroom between ₹11 and ₹19 lakh. The launch date is yet to be revealed officially, but it is expected to be introduced in the Indian market by the second half of 2026. Once launched, it will compete with Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna and Honda City.
