Geely Galaxy TT launches July 6 with up to 725km CLTC range and 570hp AWD variant

Geely Galaxy, Geely Auto’s new energy vehicle brand, has officially confirmed that it will launch the Geely Galaxy TT, a mid-to-large sedan, on July 6, 2026, for the domestic market. They will position it as a C-segment AI-powered electric sedan, which will compete with the Xiaomi SU7, the Tesla Model 3, and the Leapmotor B01.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, People’s Republic of China, catalogue has already revealed many details. The Chinese automobile manufacturer is all set to introduce the Geely Galaxy TT with both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-electric drive drivetrains, featuring a one-speed automatic gearbox.

The RWD gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor, TZ184QY301, from Wuxi Xingqu Power Technology, which generates the power of 245 kW (329 hp / 333 PS). This variant will be available with three different lithium-ion battery packs that are 52.4 kWh, 63.8 kWh, and 75.2 kWh. When fully charged, they run up to 540 km, 640 km, and 725 km, respectively, under CLTC conditions.

On the other hand, the AWD gets an electric motor on the rear axle, the same as the RWD variant, and an induction (asynchronous) motor on the front axle whose power output is 180 kW. Notably, the combined power of this variant is 425 kW (570 hp / 578 PS). It will come with a single 75.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, whose CLTC range is 650 km.

The top speed goes up to 210 km/h for both RWD and AWD, and kerb weight ranges from 1,765 kg to 1,980 kg for RWD, depending on the battery pack, and 2,090 kg for AWD. Reports suggest that it is built on Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), featuring Geely’s latest 800V high-voltage EV architecture for fast DC charging.

The front and rear suspensions are double-wishbone independent and five-link independent, respectively. The ventilated disc brakes will manage braking for all wheels and be set to get an electronic parking brake. May also feature Auto Hold, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control System.

The length is 4,999 mm with a wheelbase, the distance between the axles, of 2,920 mm; the width is 1,919 mm; and the height is 1,479 mm. Its front and rear tracks are 1,645 mm and 1,650 mm, respectively, and it will feature a seating capacity of 5 people in a 2-3 layout with a large boot space behind the second row that helps in carrying luggage.

Outside, it gets a sculpted bonnet with aerodynamic lines, L-shaped LED daylight running lights and main headlamps above the LED strip, lower air intakes, a roof-mounted LIDAR unit, gently flared wheel arches, flush-type door handles, blackout ORVMs with blinkers, a full-width LED taillight, a subtle spoiler, a bumper-integrated reflector, and a minimalistic rail gate.

Inside, it will feature a fully digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel showing all the driving data, a touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard with wireless connectivity, over-the-air software updates, a voice assistant and other smart features for convenience. It is set to be integrated with a multiple-speaker premium sound system.

Features that it is highly expected to get are two wireless phone charging pads, automatic climate control, and a panoramic glass sunroof with an electronic sunshade. May also get heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the front seats. For the rear-seating occupants’ convenience, it is certain to get rear AC vents and USB ports.

As of now, there’s no word from the Chinese carmaker about its pricing. We are expecting that they will introduce it to the domestic market with a price range from 199,800 yuan to 239,800 yuan, depending on the drivetrain and battery pack configuration, which translates to ₹28.05 lakh to ₹33.66 lakh.
