2026 Mini Countryman C To Launch On June 17 At ₹40-55 Lakh

After starting the pre-booking on April 22, 2026, the Mini, the sub-brand under the BMW Group, has officially confirmed that it will launch the 2026 Mini Countryman C on June 17, 2026. The prices are yet to be revealed for the five-seater SUV, but the report suggests that it will be available with an ex-showroom price of ₹40 lakh to ₹55 lakh.

Following the launch, it will compete with the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Audi Q3. Even though its launch is still pending, many details are still on the web. Reportedly, it measures 4,444 mm in length, 1843 mm in width, and 1661 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2692 mm, and ground clearance is 202 mm.

Set to be introduced are five exterior colour options: Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Nanuq White, Slate Blue and Smokey Green. Notably, upfront, it gets round LED headlights that are surrounded by LED daytime running lights, giving it its signature lighting style; a squared-off black grille adds a modern touch; and a sporty bumper reflects sportiness.

On the sides, it has a boxy silhouette; flat roofline; roof rails; body-coloured flush-type door handles to reduce drag and improve aerodynamics; blacked-out window surrounds, wheel arches and powered outside rear-view mirrors; and modern aero-optimised alloy wheels; and the rear gets a matrix-style taillamp, an integrated spoiler above the rear windscreen, and a minimalist powered tailgate.

The interior is yet to be revealed; the cabin is set to feature a seating layout of 2-3. Behind the second-row seats, there will be a boot space of 505 litres, which is expandable up to 1530 litres. The centre of the dashboard is set to be equipped with a circular screen of around 9.4 inches, which will act as an infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Notably, there will be no driver display, but it is certain to get a Head-Up Display (HUD) that projects driving information on the windscreen, adding a premium feel, and it also makes driving convenient because the driver doesn’t need to look below on the dashboard to check the running speed or alerts while driving.

It will get a two-spoke heated steering wheel with toggle-style physical buttons on both sides; these are also found below the screen for control of the cabin functions. The front seats are expected to be electronically adjustable and heated, but the driver seat may also feature a memory function.

Most are expected to get the Harman Kardon premium sound system, the level 2 advanced driving assistant system, a 360-degree camera with both front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, a wireless phone charging pad, USB ports, ambient lighting, two-zone climate control, and a panoramic glass sunroof.

Reportedly, it is built on the BMW Group UKL2 platform, featuring a front-wheel drive configuration. The front and rear suspension are MacPherson strut and multi-link independent, and braking for the front wheels is managed by ventilated discs and the rear by solid discs.

The powertrain details are still pending, but many sources reported that it will get a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine under the hood, which is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The ICE delivers the power of 136 hp and 230 Nm of torque, which may help it accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 9 seconds.

Notably, it is expected to reach a maximum speed of 200 kmph, and fuel efficiency is highly anticipated to be around 15 kmpl. As it is set to be introduced with a fuel tank of 54 litres, we can anticipate that its range, when the fuel tank is full, will be around 810 kilometres.
