Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Teased Ahead of August 15 Launch With Triple-Screen Dashboard

On August 11, 2026, exactly four days before the launch, Mahindra Auto teased the upcoming Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq, a pure electric sport utility vehicle. It is going to be a totally new variant, which will be positioned above all the variants on sales. They released the teaser video on YouTube with the title ‘Teq got a Pulse.’ BE 6 Sporteq, whose description says, “The BE 6 Sporteq arrives on 15.08.2026,” confirming its launch date.

The teaser video of the Sporteq they have shared online shows three displays on the dashboard, confirming our previous report about the launch of the Mahindra BE 6, with also an entertainment screen for the co-passenger. It is set to help the brand to strengthen its positioning against the rival, mainly against the Tata Sierra EV, which makes its debut in late May 2026 with the three screens on the dashboard in the top-end variant.

New Dashboard & Triple-Screen

The upcoming Sporteq is going to have a totally revised dashboard with a triple-screen setup. The existing variants are available with two 12.3 displays, one under the steering wheel and another at the center of the dashboard. The new one will have a similar digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, with an additional entertainment screen of the same size for the co-passenger.

The triple-screen setup on the dashboard is set to further enhance the cabin aesthetic; it is certain the upcoming variant of the BE 6 will look more premium than the existing ones. The additional screen is set to support all the features that are available with the centrally mounted screen, meaning it will come with over-the-air software updates, an artificial intelligence-based voice assistant, and wireless smartphone connectivity.

Any Other Changes?

The Sporteq variant of the Mahindra BE 6 is coming with a matte-black finish exterior color; the teaser video has already confirmed the same. In the video, it is also shown that the seats are set to get brown upholstery. Besides these upgrades and improvements, no other changes are expected in size, powertrain or any other terms.

The dimensions are set to remain the same, which are 4,371 mm, 1,907 mm, 1,627 mm, 2,775 mm, and 207 mm in terms of length, width, height, wheelbase, and ground clearance, respectively. Even the boot space as a five-seater will remain 455 liters behind the second-row seats, which is expandable up to 1305 liters to carry more luggage.

79 kWh Battery Likely

As the Sporteq is coming as a new variant of the Mahindra BE 6 that will be placed at the top among all the variants, we are expecting it to be equipped with a 79 kWh LFP battery pack under the floor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle with a single-speed automatic transmission. It will deliver the maximum power and peak torque of 285 PS and 380 Nm, respectively.
