Mahindra BE 07 Interior Spied: Triple-Screen Dashboard and More Details Revealed

The Mahindra BE 07 is an upcoming pure-electric sport utility vehicle from Mahindra Auto in the Indian market under the BE lineup after the BE 6. On Indian roads, this upcoming electric vehicle has been spotted testing multiple times, but every time in camouflage. Recently, it was also spotted testing, whose spy shots are shared by CarDekho. 

The most spied images of BE 07 floating also include the one that reveals its interior through the side window.

What does the interior spy image reveal?

The spied interior image shows the upcoming pure-electric car from Mahindra is set to have three screens on the dashboard, similar to its siblings, the XEV 9S and XEV 9e. The co-passenger and digital instrument cluster seem to be the same in terms of size, and the middle is a little larger than the sides.

Other things that we get to know are that on the front windshield, it has a small dashcam that records footage during an emergency situation through the 360-degree camera. 

Its Exterior 

After multiple sightings on public roads in India, many details about its exterior have emerged. Upfront it has LED headlights to ensure better visibility on the road for nighttime driving and add modernness to its front-end look and a frameless window on the doors, adding premium.

Features an A-pillar mounted outside the rear-view mirror to get a clear view of blind spots; it also houses the front blinker that helps in hinting to the vehicle ahead about the next move. 

What else do we know?

Mahindra Auto is yet to reveal this upcoming EV; as of now, they haven’t disclosed even a single detail about its specifications and features. All we know is that it underpins the INGLO platform, which supports over-the-air software updates, fast charging, 5G connectivity, and other smart features. 

So far, they have introduced three models on this platform. The pure-petrol vehicles that are on sale in the Indian market under the banner of Mahindra are XEV 9S, XEV 9e, and BE 6. The upcoming one will become the fourth model to underpin that platform. 

They haven’t yet revealed or confirmed the production name. Many reports suggest that they will introduce it as BE 7 and position it above the existing BE 6. The global debut of this upcoming EV’s near-production model is anticipated on August 14, 2026; however, the confirmation is still pending. 

Its market launch in India will be around early 2027 with a slightly costlier price than the existing BE 6. We are expecting it to cost starting from ₹20 lakh and may go up to ₹30 lakh. As a spacious 5-seater electric SUV, it will take on the Tata Harrier EV, which also comes with a triple-screen setup.

AWD Possible?

Mahindra currently sells five EV models in the Indian market; three of these are based on the platform discussed earlier, while the remaining two are the XUV400 and the XUV 3XO EV. To date, none of the models launched by this Indian carmaker have been offered with an all-wheel-drive drivetrain, though this is expected for the upcoming BE 07.

The carmaker has already confirmed that the INGLO platform supports not only RWD but also AWD; therefore, if the company intends to position it against the Tata Harrier EV, they will certainly need to introduce both RWD and AWD variants, as those options are available on the competing model.

Battery Pack Options 

May get an LFP battery pack the same as the Mahindra BE 6, which offers 59 kWh and 79 kWh. If the model debuts with the same options, it will run less than its sibling because the upcoming one is bigger in size. The existing one runs up to 535 km and 682 km with a standard and large battery pack, respectively, in MIDC conditions, and the upcoming one may be under 500 km and 650 km.

If they plan to introduce an all-wheel-drive variant, then there’s a high chance that it will feature the large battery pack, but the range in MIDC conditions will be below 600 km because it will power two electric motors, which results in consuming more energy for each kilometer of driving than the variant equipped with only one motor.
