JSW MG Hector Tomahawk: India’s New 7-Seater Electric SUV Set to Debut on August 26

JSW MG Motors India, the joint venture between SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and JSW Group, is all set to launch an electrified seven-seater sport utility vehicle on August 26, 2026, which underpins the Advanced Drive Architecture Platform technology. The joint venture is yet to reveal the name of this upcoming SUV, but a report from Autocar India confirms that it is set to be known as the JSW MG Hector Tomahawk.

The model that is scheduled to make its debut in the Indian market on the scheduled date is most likely to be a pure-electric version, as many reports suggest. Notably, after the launch of the EV trim, they will also introduce the model as a PHEV. As of now, they don’t officially disclose any specifications. Notably, it is based on the Wuling Eksion, which is sold in the Indonesian market with pure-electric and plug-in hybrid electric powertrains.
