They have introduced it to the Indian market with a new colour option that is Crystal Black Pearl; with this addition, now it becomes available in a total of 6 colours. The other 5 are Radiant Red Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic.
The launch happened under the C-segment midsize sedan, and it’s all set to compete with the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Its exterior and interior have received many cosmetic changes as well as feature upgrades.
Up front, it comes with connected LED daylight running lights in the middle and two separate LED DRLs in the headlight housings, giving a modern light signature. On the front end, the Honda’s logo is placed just above the middle of connected LED DRLs, reflecting the brand identity. Now, it gets a sportier bumper with high gloss to give it a sharper look, which makes its appearance not only eye-catching but also enhances its road presence.

In profile, it retains the mechanical door handles to ensure better practicality, and body-coloured electrically adjustable ORVMs are still visible with housing of the indicator. The new one sides on its wheels; the 2026 facelift sits on a 16-inch alloy wheel design with the Aero Blade design.
At the back, it gets a redesigned bumper, the same as the front end, smoked-effect tail lamps enhancing its rear lighting signature, the brand’s logo at the centre of the tailgate for branding, and an integrated lip spoiler on the boot lid.
Dimensionally, it remains the same; it is 4,574 mm longer, 1,748 mm wider, and 1,489 mm higher. Its wheelbase is 2,600 mm, and ground clearance is 165 mm. It comes with the same 2-3 seating configuration as a five-seater, and as there’s no change in size, the boot space remains for 506 litres for petrol and 410 litres for hybrid.
Inside, the overall dashboard is similar to the outgoing model, but the new addition is a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system upgraded with a user interface. Other changes inside the cabin are two cupholders to keep the coffee mug, a rear windscreen sunshade to keep out the direct sunlight, and ventilated front seats for cooling and comfort during the hot weather.
The same three-spoke steering wheel is retained with the physical buttons on both sides and logo at the centre, under which a semi-digital instrument cluster is added which shows all driving data. The infotainment system supports wireless connectivity via both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and enhances the experience with an 8-speaker sound system.
The cabin gets six airbags, which ensure the safety of occupants during the collision, a 360-degree camera, a lane watch camera, and Level-2 advanced driving assistant systems that make the driving almost stress-free with the smart features such as adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking and lane assist functions.
The ICE vehicle was introduced with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine, which generates a maximum of 121 hp power and peak 145 Nm torque. The transmission options are 6-speed manual and 7-speed CVT, featuring the mileage of 17.8 km/l and 18.4 km/l, respectively. Notably, it comes with the front-wheel drive configuration.
On the other hand, the e:HEV comes with a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine under the hood, two electric motors in the engine bay, and a 0.86 kWh lithium-ion hybrid battery pack under the rear. The system’s power output and torque are 126 hp and 253 Nm, respectively, and it is offered with a single e-CVT transmission option. Its drivetrain is also FWD.
