Bajaj Avenger 220 Street at ₹1.3L: 584 km Tank Range, July 2026 Delivery
On May 5, 2026, the Indian automobile manufacturer Bajaj Auto added the Bajaj Avenger 220 Street to its official website while delisting the Bajaj Avenger 160 Street, earlier reported. Now, they have officially announced the price; it is available with an ex-showroom price of ₹1.3 lakh. Notably, the price differs between it and its sibling, the Bajaj Avenger 120 Cruiser, which is ₹1,281.
The ex-showroom price of the Bajaj Avenger 200 Street is only shown on the landing page, but on the line-up page, it is still showing ‘coming soon.’ And even the model isn’t yet available on the booking page, meaning they have yet to start the sale and booking of the Bajaj Avenger 200 Street, but there’s high speculation that they will start it very soon, and delivery may start in July 2026.

A listing on Bajaj Auto’s website shows that it is available in two color options: cocktail wine red and ebony black. Looking from the front, it gets round-shaped LED headlamps with horizontal daylight running lights for better visibility, a blackout cowl for housing lighting to add a modern touch, and a short visor to reduce window blowback on the face.
Other notable elements on the front-end are telescopic forks with gaiters, i.e., rubber covers, and clean-lens indicators. On the side, we get to see a 17-inch alloy double-tone wheel on the front and a 15-inch one at the rear with tubeless tires, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank making its side profile attractive, rectangular rear-view mirrors, and a blacked-out engine cover and exhaust enhancing its contrast.
The rear features a grab tail, rectangular LED taillamps, twin shock absorbers, turn signal lighting, a number plate holder, an exhaust outlet, and a small red reflector. Dimensionally, it is 2,210 mm longer, 806 mm wider, and 1,070 mm taller. Its wheelbase of 1490 mm is good for stability at high speed, and a ground clearance of 169 mm is ideal for easily passing potholes.
Features a seat height of 737 mm, giving a comfortable riding position for individuals who are between the heights of 5’ and 5’4”. Reportedly, its curb weight is 160 kg, not too high, and it can be easily handled even in city traffic. It comes with a fuel tank of 13 liters, and with the ARAI-certified mileage of 45 kmpl, it gives a fuel range of 584 kilometers.

It gets a semi-digital instrument console, meaning it has an analog tachometer and digital speedometer, which show speed, total distance, trip meter 1, trip meter 2, fuel gauge, time, and service reminder. Braking for the front wheel is managed by a 280 mm disc and the rear with a 130 mm drum, featuring a single-channel anti-locking braking system.
Powered by a 220cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled twin-spark DTS-i engine featuring a fuel injection system, the internal combustion engine is mounted with a five-speed manual gearbox in the pattern of 1-down and 4-ups. Notably, the engine delivers 19.03 PS power at 8,500 rpm and 17.55 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. The sprint is from 0 to 60 kmph; it takes 5.3 seconds, and it can go 130 kmph.
Its main rival in the Indian market is the TVS Ronin; it is available for sale with an ex-showroom price of ₹1.28 lakh to ₹1.61 lakh. It is powered by a 225.9 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine; it is also mated with a five-speed manual gearbox, but the power output is 20.4 PS at 7,750 rpm, and peak torque is 19.93 Nm at 3,750 rpm. Its top speed is 120, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6 seconds.
