AUDI E7X Presale Starts May 8: 751 km Range Full-Size SUV from $23,900
The AUDI, a Chinese EV brand that is made in partnership between German automobile maker Audi, part of Volkswagen Group, and Chinese automaker SAIC Motor, is all set to start the presale for the AUDI E7X, a full-size crossover SUV, on May 8, 2026, and the launch is anticipated to take place in June 2026.
The price is yet to be revealed, but reports say that the preorder for the vehicle will begin with a price between 165,000 CNY and 200,000 CNY (23,900 USD and 29,000 USD), depending on the variant. In the Chinese market, the vehicle is all set to compete with the XPeng G9, Nio ES8, Onvo L80, and Xiaomi YU7.
Dimensions, Color Options, Seating & Cargo
Dimensionally, its exterior measures 5,049 mm in length, 2,002 mm in width, 1,710 mm in height, and 3,060 mm in wheelbase, which makes it a bigger car in the segment, giving it a bold road presence. It comes with multiple body color options, which include deep purple, metallic grey, black, white, blue, and others with a double tone.
The vehicle is available with different seating capacities: a four-seater in a layout of 2-2 and a five-seater in a configuration of 2-3. The 4-seater has a captain’s seat in the second row that comes with an armrest, and the 5-seater has a bench. The boot space is 517 liters, and there’s also a front trunk of 105, meaning the cargo capacity is 622 liters.
Front, Side & Rear Design

On the front-end, it features an integrated black panel replacing the grille for modern EV styling; Audi’s signature light loop with more than 1,000 triangular LED elements that gives it a unique identity during the night and also creates a futuristic lighting identity; and vertical digital Matrix LED headlights with adaptive lighting for anti-glare.
On the sides, the vehicle gets short overhangs for sportiness and handling stance, a strong shoulder line across the body to add muscular tension and width, sculpted wheel arches to emphasize its SUV toughness, frameless doors for a premium touch, large and aero-optimized alloy wheels for better efficiency, and flush-type door handles to reduce drag and improve aerodynamics.
The rear also features a full-width LED light loop, a mirror, and the front lighting signature that make it look wider and more premium and give it a unique identity. Its black wraparound rear panel features unified design language. The back also gets hidden lighting elements that make it look clean in the daytime by dynamic lighting during the night. The tailgate features a mining design with a smooth surface.
Cabin & Technology

The cabin is equipped with a 27-inch 4K panoramic display that runs on AUDI OS. Features ByteDance AI-powered voice assistant, which can do conversions. It comes with zero-gravity seats with a reclining function up to 120° and features a 16-point massage system. For rear-seating passengers, it also gets a roof-mounted 21.4-inch rear screen that is foldable; it can be controlled via voice, remote, and touch.
It comes with 26 speakers, Bose’s premium sound system, which includes headrest speakers for rear occupants and shoulder speakers for the driver and front seating passengers. Features ambient lighting that changes with modes, a dual-section Panasonic roof, a 7.2-liter inbuilt fridge for cooling and heating, 23 airbags for safety, and LiDAR-based ADAS for smooth driving.
Powertrain & Performance
The car is built on an advanced digitized platform whose electrical architecture is 900-volt. It comes with a single-motor RWD configuration and a double-motor AWD drivetrain. The vehicle with a double motor generates the power of 300 kW (402 hp) and torque of 500 Nm, and with the single motor, it has a power output of 500 kW (670 hp) and peak torque of 800 Nm.
It is available with two battery packs, which are 100 kWh and 109 kWh. The standard battery pack has a CLTC range of 705 km, and the large battery pack runs for 751 km. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 3.97 seconds for the vehicle that comes with an AWD drivetrain. It supports fast charging, which can charge from 10-80% in 13 minutes.
