5 Electric Bikes Coming to India by 2027: From ₹1.75L to ₹7L

Between the second half of 2026 and the first half of 2027, in India, a total of 5 pure-electric motorcycles will be introduced in different segments. The list includes Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6, Ultraviolette Shockwave, Hero Vida VxZ, Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric and TVS eFX 3O. Let’s have a closer look at each of the upcoming electric bikes.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 is all set to launch in the second half of 2026; they haven’t yet revealed the ex-showroom price. We expect that they will introduce it in the Indian market with a cost between 3 and 3.5 lakh rupees. Set to feature 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, braking for both wheels is set to be managed by a single disc.

Expected to get USD forks and front suspension, and a monoshock as the rear. Reportedly, it will get a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is anticipated to give a range around 150 km. It may get a mid-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that is likely to deliver 20 hp of power, which will make the 0-60 km/h acceleration possible in 3.7 seconds.

Ultraviolette Shockwave

Ultraviolette Automotive unveiled and launched the Ultraviolette Shockwave back in March 2025, and now they are going to start the delivery in July 2025. Once the delivery begins, riders may buy it with the ex-showroom price of 1.75 lakh rupees. However, the pre-sale is still taking place; one may book by paying the amount of just 999 rupees.

It is equipped with a 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack whose IDC range is 165 km; it also features a mid-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers the power of 14.5 bhp and peak torque of 505 Nm. It takes 2.9 seconds to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, and top speed is 120 km/h.

Hero Vida VxZ

Hero MotoCorp has co-developed the Hero Vida VxZ with Zero Motorcycles, which is all set to make its debut in the Indian market in early 2027. They are expected to start the sale with the ex-showroom prices of 2 and 2.5 lakh rupees. It will feature USD forks and a monoshock as front and rear suspension, respectively; brakes for both wheels are disc with double-channel ABS.

They are yet to reveal the battery pack and performance details. We expect they will introduce this electric bike with a battery pack between 3 kWh and 5 kWh, which may run 120 km to 160 km. Set to feature a mid-mounted electric motor, belt-drive transmission, multiple ride modes and regenerative braking.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric

The Royal Enfield will launch the Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric in the second half of 2026; however, the manufacturer is yet to confirm it. Reportedly, it will be made available for sale with an ex-showroom price between 5 and 7 lakh rupees. Set to be equipped with a 14 kWh LFP battery pack, which may give 250 km. It will feature a mid-mounted electric motor that delivers 100 bhp of power.

The front wheel will get long-travel USD forks, suspension, and the rear will have an Öhlins monoshock. Both are set to be electronically adjustable suspension for ensuring a comfortable riding experience on any type of terrain. The double disc will manage front wheel braking; the same for the rear wheel is set to be managed by a single disc. It will also feature double-channel ABS to ensure safe braking.

TVS eFX 3O

TVS eFX 3O

The TVS Motor Company will launch the TVS eFX 3O in early 2027; it is anticipated that it will cost between 2.5 and 3 lakh rupees. The manufacturer showcased it at the EICMA (International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition) 2025, and its production model is yet to be revealed. Reportedly, it will get a 5-5.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack whose IDC range is expected to be above 200 kilometres.

It is set to feature full LED headlights at both ends with a C-shape giving the modern look and a dual-colour TFT display with wireless connectivity via Bluetooth showing the navigation and media. Front and rear suspension are set to upside-down (USD) forks and a monoshock, respectively; for braking, both wheels will get discs with a double-channel anti-locking braking system.
