TVS iQube & Orbiter Cross 10 Lakh Sales: 1,333 Scooters Sold Daily
TVS Motors Company crossed the mark of 10 lakh electric scooter sales, including only two models that are the TVS iQube and TVS Orbiter. As of June 11, 2026, a total of 1,004,148 sales have been recorded; actual sales figures for each model are still pending. Reportedly, out of the total, more than 8.5 lakh Sol units are iQube, and above 1.2 lakh are Orbiter.
The manufacturer launched its all-electric scooter, the TVS iQube, on January 25, 2020, and the second one, the TVS Orbiter, was introduced in the Indian market on 28 August 2026. Notably, in the last 75 days, between 28 March 2026 and 10 June 2026, the makers sold 1 lakh units of electric scooters, with an average daily sales of 1,333 units.
TVS E-Scooter Sales Trend
After launching the TVS iQube, the TVS Motors Company took more than 3 years to complete the sale of 1 lakh units, and after that, the sales turned from 1 lakh to 2 lakhs in just 10 months; following that, the sales figures grew to 3 lakh in April 2024, around 52 weeks after the launch. After that the sale grew rapidly; within 17 months they sold 4 lakh more units, completing the sale of 7 lakh.
After reaching the milestone of 7 lakh unit sales, they sold 1 lakh units between October 2025 and December 2025 and achieved the goal of 8 lakh sales. In the first half of 2026, they sold 2 lakh more units and became the second company after Ola Electric to complete the sale of 1,000,000 units in India.
TVS Motor Company’s market share was only 1% in 2020, which grows to 8% in 2022, then grows to more than 20% in 2023, and by 2025, the manufacturer is leading the segment. Only in 2026, they have sold 219,232 units, and they are expected to cross the market of 500,000 this year.
In May 2026, the TVS Motors Company sold a total of 42,415 electric scooters, including both models, the TVS iQube and the TVS Orbiter, which translates to a 25% market share. May 2025 sales figure was only 25,804, meaning with a 16,611-unit sales difference, they registered a year-on-year growth of 64%.

In June 2026, the sales figures for the TVS electric scooter are expected to touch the figure of 50,000; if it happens, the company will record a month-on-month growth of 18%.
