The wheelbase may measure 2,657 mm, giving ample legroom for all rear-seating passengers; ground clearance is set to be 222 mm, ensuring that it can pass the rough terrain and potholes without any inconvenience.

Set to be introduced with the seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2-3, as the upcoming Nissan Tekton is the same in size as the newly introduced Duster from Renault, it is expected that it will also have a boot space of 518 litres, which helps in carrying up to 3 big pieces of luggage easily. Like other SUVs in the segment, it may also feature rear-seat folding to increase cargo capacity.

No details about its interior are revealed by the Japanese automaker manufacturer. It is expected that it will get an infotainment system of around 10 inches, which will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a fully digital instrument cluster of the same is likely under the steering wheel showing driving data. An eight-speaker sound system is expected to ensure a better audio experience.

The top variant is expected to come with a large panoramic glass roof with UV rays and heat protection, a wireless phone charging pad, a Level 2 advanced driving assistant system, a 360° camera, and dual-zone climate control.

Reportedly, the Tekton will make its debut as an ICE vehicle and HEV. The ICE vehicle will be introduced with two different engine options that are 1.0 and 1.3 litre turbocharged petrol engines; the former is expected to generate the maximum power of 110-120 PS and peak torque of 180-200 Nm, while the latter may generate 150-155 PS and 250-270 Nm.

On the other hand, the HEV may get a 1.8 naturally aspirated petrol engine under the hood with an electric motor on the front axle and also features a 1.4 kWh battery pack that needn’t be plugged in. The system is likely to generate peak power and torque of 140-160 PS and 220-240 Nm, respectively.
