In April 2026, TVS Motor Company launched the 2026 TVS Raider 125. Within six months of that, the manufacturer had come up with another updated version for this commuter motorcycle.
Notably, the refreshed version of the TVS Raider 125 is named the 2027 model in many reports. Reports suggest that by launching the refreshed version around the festive season, the company is intending to boost their monthly sales.
The TVS Raider 125 is available for sale in seven variants: Drum, Single Seat, Split Seat, iGO, Super Squad Edition, SXC DD, and TFT DD. Not all seven variants of TVS Raider 125 have received the update; only the last three have.
Even though the company’s website shows Super Squad Edition, SXC DD, and TFT DD as new variants, the press only carries the details for the last two. Let’s have a closer look.
Prices are revised.
The TVS Motor Company website shows that the 2027 TVS Raider 125 SXC DD and TFT DD variants cost ₹100,330 and ₹103,330, respectively. Compared to the former one, the letter is only ₹3,000 costlier.
These prices are ex-showroom; it means they are the amount before the taxes and registration. Depending on the location, the on-road price for each of the 2027 TVS Raider 125 will vary.
The arrival of the model at the dealership already began earlier this month; visiting the same one may get to know the actual on-road price and also have a test drive, if the dealership allows.
What’s new in the 2027 model?
Reportedly, the 2027 TVS Raider 125 has received four upgrades. The first one among these upgrades is the traction control system. For the first time, TVS has introduced this feature for a 125 cc motorcycle in the Indian market.
The addition of the TCS features for this TVS motorcycle has made it no more safe to drive on the slippery, wet, or gravel-ridden roads, because it prevents the irregular rear-wheel spin.
The second feature is emergency brake warning. It automatically triggers the hazard lights during sudden or hard braking to alert the road users running behind so the collision can be avoided.

The third one is 120-section tires for the same 17-inch alloy, replacing the old 110-section. It means the tires are no more fat, which helps with improving straight-line composure and cornering grip.
And the last one is a 27-watt USB Type-C charger, replacing the older USB-A. The all-new Type-C charging port is introduced to enhance the phone’s charging convenience during long rides.
Are there any other details?
Apart from these four upgrades and ex-showroom price revision, the 2027 TVS Raider 125 remains the same as the existing model. It means the 124.8 cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled, 3-valve engine that features the Eco Thrust Fuel Injection (ET-Fi) fuel delivery system is still available.
