Triumph Motorcycles, a British motorcycle manufacturer, has finally launched the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660, a fully faired sports motorcycle, on September 21, 2026. The motorcycle maker has introduced this 2026-year model, replacing the existing one. Compared to the outgoing model, it is ₹11,000 costlier. Its ex-showroom price is ₹9.99 lakh. The 2026-year model of the fully fair-weather sports motorcycle Triumph Daytona 660 has been introduced, strengthening its position against the Honda CBR650R, Kawasaki Ninja 650, and Yamaha YZF-R7. It is available for sale with three different exterior color options, an existing powertrain, clutchless functions, and smart features.

Powertrain and performance.
Get a 660cc liquid-cooled inline 3-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion engine that is bolted with the six-speed manual gearbox. The power output is 95 hp, and the peak torque is 68 Nm.
The drivetrain is a chain-driven rear wheel and also features a bi-directional quickshifter with the clutchless upshifts and downshifts; earlier it wasn’t available as optional, but with the introduction, now it has become easy and convenient to ride this motorcycle.
Its claimed mileage is 20.4 kmpl, the real-world fuel economy set to be different from one another for city driving and highway cruising. The 0 to 100 km acceleration timing and top speed are under 4 seconds and 220 km, respectively.
Underpinning and other details.
The Daytona 660 middleweight sportbike platform is used to develop this motorcycle; it uses a tubular high-tensile steel perimeter frame and a twin-sided fabricated steel swingarm.
Equipped with the 41mm Showa USD Separate Function The big piston fork at the front end with the compression and rebound damping adjustment was not available on the outgoing model; it has 110 mm long travel. At the rear, it gets a Showa monoshock RSU with preload adjustment, which has 130 mm long travel.
The 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels are standard with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear Metzeler Sportec M9RR tires, replacing the Michelin Power 6. The front wheel has Twin 310mm floating discs with 4-piston radial calipers, and the rear gets 220mm disc single-piston sliding callipers. The double-channel anti-locking braking.
Dimensions and color options.
The length, width, and height are 2,083.8 mm, 736 mm, and 1,145.2 mm without mirrors, respectively, with the 1,425.6 mm wheelbase, 810 mm seat height, and 155 mm ground clearance. Its wheelbase is quite long in the segment, enhancing stability. Its rake is 23.8 degrees, and the trail is 82.3 mm. This motorcycle gets a 14-liter fuel tank, ensuring fewer refueling stops, and has 201 kg curb weight.
The three exterior color options are aluminum silver, cosmic yellow, and sapphire black. The first two have glossy Sapphire Black graphics, and the last one has only a glossy finish. The first one is ideal for those who are looking elegant and understated, second for riders who want a sporty and attention-grabbing appearance, and third for riders who love stealthy and aggressive bikes.

Three driving modes are available for this motorcycle; they are Road, Rain, and Sport. It also has switchable traction control that helps with improving the road grip, ensuring the safety of the rider and pillion. Equipped with a ride-by-wire electronic throttle, and a TFT or LCD hybrid display showing all the riding-related information clearly.
