On September 22, 2026, the Honda QC3 launch happened. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched this electric scooter with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.35 lakh. In the Honda two-wheeler EV lineup, it sits above the QC1 and below the Activa e:. The HMSI has positioned this e-scooter against the Ather Konarc S 161, Vida VX2 Plus 3.1, Bajaj Chetak C3502, and TVS iQube 3.1kWh.
This Honda e-scooter is introduced to the Indian market as a family e-scooter to attract the families who are planning to buy a two-wheeler EV around the 2026 festive season. The booking has officially started with the launch; interested buyers may book a unit through the HMSI’s official website. They can even do so by visiting the nearest RedWing dealership, booking requires a payment of ₹5,000.
Launching this electric scooter, HSMI has officially confirmed that firstly it will be available for sale only for five cities: Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat, and Kollam, and then the nationwide rollout will take place. The Honda QC3, the third electric scooter from the Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India for the Indian market, is ready to complete the two-wheeler EVs that come with the 150 km of IDC range. The ex-showroom prices for all states and UTs are the same; Delhiites are set to get huge discounts because of the newly introduced Delhi EV policy by the BJP-led Rekha Gupta government.

Motor, battery, range and charging.
The QC3 from HSMI gets a high-mounted electric motor, which gets power from a fixed 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The power output and peak torque are yet to be made public, but the manufacturer has officially confirmed that on the Indian Driving Cycle, it can run up to 145 km.
The real-world range details are still unknown. Some reliable reports suggest that the Honda QC3 will run up to 120-125 km depending on driving style after each full charge. The HMSI will soon reveal its maximum AC charging output; they say that it takes 2 hours 40 minutes for up to 80 per cent charging, and for them, a full charge is 4 hours.
Compared to the QC1 and Activa e, the QC3 has 65 km and 43 km more range, respectively, on IDC. Even though the QC3 has more range than two existing electric scooters, the Activa e is placed at the top because of the features. The newly launched model is the longest-range e-scooter from the HMSI; Honda fans may go with it.
Features, technology, and others.
The HSMI says that there’s a 32-litre under-seat storage that can easily accommodate one large-sized helmet; alternatively, it can be used for carrying the small items. It is also equipped with the USB charging port for phone charging convenience during the rides and a smart key for keyless start.
Its upfront riding position and wide handlebar enhance riding ergonomics. Between the handlebars, it has a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster that supports wireless connectivity via the Honda Sync for turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts. It gets a telescopic fork at the front suspension and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The front and rear brakes are disc and drum, respectively; the offering of ABS or CBS is still unconfirmed. A total of four colour options are available, providing choices to buyers; they are Matt Photon Grey Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue, and Pearl Siren Blue.
