The upcoming Triumph Bonneville 400 ICE-powered motrcycle has been tested officially on October 2, 2026, with a confirmed global debut date of October 6, 2026.
The Triumph Bonneville 400 is a smaller-capacity modern-classic motorcycle from the UK motorcycle manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles. On October 2, 2026, the company released a teaser video revealing the design but with blur and a global revealing date. The teaser video reveals that the two-wheeler maker will showcase a total of four models on October 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
The timing the company has revealed via the teaser video is the time when they will start the event to showcase the upcoming models. Notably, all four models aren’t officially disclosed by Triumph Motorcycles. Reports suggest that, besides the one Triumph Bonneville 400, the three others will be the 2026 Triumph Street Triple, the Triumph Tiger 900, and the Triumph Tiger 1200.
The revealed time is BST (British Summer Time). For the Indians, it would be 4:30 PM. The company hasn’t yet revealed where the launch event will be held. Among these four models, the most awaited one is the Triumph Bonneville 400. The teaser video has officially revealed that this motorcycle will have larger wire-spoked wheels with disc brakes, round mirrors, and circular headlamps.
The upcoming Triumph Bonneville 400 motorcycle has already been spotted testing on public roads without any camouflage. The most recent officially emerged details can also be seen in the spy shots of the test mule. The spied images confirm the use of a Gaitered telescopic fork and twin shocks as front and rear suspension, respectively.
The overall design resembles classic Bonneville-inspired styling. Other design highlights are a flat and single-piece bench-style seat and a peashooter-style exhaust. Spied images also have revealed the use of disc brakes on the rear wheel. As the disc brakes on both wheels have been spotted, the availability of double-channel anti-locking braking is certain.

Other exterior design highlights are a grab rail behind the seat for a secured handhold, rear fender-mounted taillamps and side indicators. Triumph Motorcycles will reveal all the features for this upcoming motorcycle with the launch. Spy shots have revealed that it will have an analogue-style instrument cluster that may support wireless connectivity for call and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
Features which are most expected are riding modes, USB charging port, ride-by-wire throttle, and quickshifter. Since the Triumph Bonneville 400 motorcycle has already been spotted being tested multiple times in India, it is clear the manufacturer will also launch it here. In the Bonneville lineup, the company already sells five models: Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Bonneville Bobber, and Bonneville Speedmaster.
Among the available models in the Bonneville family from the Triumph Motorcycles, the first one is equipped with a 900cc internal combustion engine, and the last four with the 1200cc. The upcoming one will be placed below the only model that is powered by the 900cc ICE. Reports suggest that the international-spec model will get 398cc ICE, but the Indian version will be powered by a 349cc unit.
The Triumph Bonneville 400 launch date is still pending; the carmaker will launch it shortly after its global unveiling. On October 6, 2026, the company may launch it for the UK market. For the Indian market, its launch will take place later. In India, it will be complete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and Jawa 350. Its expected ex-showroom price is ₹2.5 lakh.
