2026 Triumph Bonneville T120, Bobber & Speedmaster: IMU Safety Upgrade & New Features
Triumph, the British motorcycle manufacturer, has come up with the 2026 Triumph Bonneville T120, Bobber, and Speedmaster with a few changes and revised pricing.
Notably, all three newly introduced motorcycles are equipped with the IMU, which helps the bike in understanding the concerning lean angle, meaning now the ABS and traction control adjust braking and wheelspin even if the bike is leaned on a turn; basically, it enhances safety by reducing the chance of losing grip on a wet road.
Besides the addition of the Inertial Measurement Unit feature, each motorcycle has also received a few tweaks and upgrades, which differ from one another. Let’s have a closer look at what is new in each of them.
2026 Triumph Bonneville T120

The 2026 Bonneville T120 comes with a new LED headlamp and daylight running lights featuring better visibility during nighttime driving and giving a premium look; cruise control, which ensures less wrist fatigue and better highway comfort; and a USB-C charging port for phone charging during long rides. Its ex-showroom price is ₹12.17 lakh; to opt for the dual-tone color option, an additional payment of ₹50,000 is required.
Get a 1200cc liquid-cooled 8-valve SOHC parallel-twin engine that is mated with a smooth-shifting 6-speed manual gearbox whose power output is 78.9 bhp at 6,550 rpm and peak torque is 105 Nm at a low 3,500 rpm. Its acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 3.8 seconds, top speed goes up to 190 km/h, and ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 21.27 km/L, but real-world mileage is 18-23 km/L, depending on driving conditions.
2026 Triumph Bonneville Bobber

The 2026 Bonneville Bobber replaces the old 12 liters with a new 14-liter tank, which means it has a longer touring range. With this upgrade, riders will now face fewer stops for refueling. Now get a single-piece wider seat, ensuring better comfort for both rider and pillion; lighter aluminum wheels, improving handling, steering feel, and ride response; and revised bodywork, making it more muscular and premium.
It is available for sale with the price of ₹13.52 lakh. There’s no mechanical change in it; it is still powered by a 1200cc liquid-cooled 8-valve parallel-twin engine, which generates the power of 77 bhp at 6,100 rpm. And peak torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Its drivetrain is an X-ring chain, and transmission is a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox, which features a torque-assist wet multi-plate clutch for a light lever pull.
2026 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster

The 2026 Bonneville Speedmaster has upgrades in fuel tank size, seat, wheels, and bodywork, the same as the 2026 Bonneville Bobber. Other tweaks include straighter handlebars to give a more relaxed posture and better shoulder comfort. Interestingly, it is available for sale with the ex-showroom price of ₹13.52 lakh. It is equipped with the same engine as the 2026 Bonneville Bobber, whose power output is totally similar, and torque is also similar, but at 3,750 rpm.
It has a seat height of 705 mm, giving a comfortable seating position for individuals between 5’ and 5’5″, and a wheelbase of 1,510 mm, which is quite long; it keeps the motorcycle stable even at high speeds. The front suspension is 47 mm Showa cartridge forks, and the rear is hidden mono-shock units. The braking for the front wheel is managed by 310 mm floating discs clamped by Brembo 2-piston floating calipers, and the rear by the 255 mm disc paired with a Nissin single-piston floating caliper.
