The Toyota Glanza facelift is scheduled for the October 14, 2026, launch; prior to that, the Japanese automobile manufacturer has officially tested this upcoming car. The company has teased the model by releasing the video on X, earlier Twitter, that revealed many details.
Reportedly, this facelift is coming with not only interior and exterior feature upgrades but also with the new powertrain. Let’s have a closer look.
Tested videos reveal the front-end design.
The video that Toyota shared online shows an all-new black front grille that has a honeycomb pattern and a silver-finished surround. This new grill is likely to give a fresh appearance to this upcoming car and make it more appealing to buyers. The manufacturer will unveil the full front-end design at the launch event, whose details are still pending.
Other details that the teaser video has revealed are the change in the place of the logo. The brand’s logo that was earlier available on the grill is now moved to the bonnet. This change has been made to ensure the brand identity remains visible clearly. Apart from these details, it also has been unveiled that the headlight housings are revised.
Dimensions and seating layout will continue.
The facelift will reportedly measure the same as the outgoing model. It means the length, width, and height will remain 3,990 mm, 1,745 mm, and 1,500 mm, respectively. Even the wheelbase and ground clearance will be the same as the existing version, as per reports. The former one stands at 2,520 mm, and the latter measures 170 mm.

As there are no dimensional changes, the seating layout will remain 2-3, and the cargo capacity behind the second row will also continue as 318 liters. The same dimensions mean the legroom, headroom, and shoulder room for both rows will also remain the same as the outgoing model.
Features may be borrowed from the Baleno facelift.
The Toyota Glanza facelift will retain many features and technology from the outgoing model. Reports suggest that it will also borrow all the new features that were introduced with the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift to enhance comfort, practicality, and convenience.
The features that are highly anticipated to be borrowed are the ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging pad with active cooling on the center console, Clarion sound system, level 2 advanced driving assistant system suite, and more. Apart from feature additions, reports suggest the updated upholstery and trims.
Likely to come with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder NA petrol-powered ICE.
Similar to the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, the upcoming Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to get a 1.2-liter three-cylinder Z-series naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine replacing the 1.2-liter four-cylinder K-series, according to various automotive reports.

Reports also suggest that apart from the pure-petrol powertrain, the petrol-CNG will also go for sale, although there’s no official confirmation regarding it. Both powertrains are expected to be available with the 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmission, like the Brezza facelift.
TorqueAnalyst words.
The Toyota Glanza facelift is all set to further strengthen positioning against the rivals, including the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Hyundai i20, and the Tata Altroz. This upcoming car is expected to cost ex-showroom little more than the existing version, the same as we have seen with the other facelifts from the company in the past.
