It’s only petrol range with the average real-world mileage of 18 km/l is 666 km, and its only CNG range with the average real-world mileage of 25 kg/km is 225 km, meaning the overall range of the car is 891 km, quite good for long drives.

It comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2 and 3; behind the second-row seats, there’s a cargo capacity of 210 litres, and it can easily carry up to 3 small pieces of luggage. However, the rear seats are foldable; if only two people are travelling, then they can easily carry multiple big pieces of luggage by extending the boot space up to 650 litres.

It has received a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP and has a total of 6 airbags, which include double front, double side and double curtain for protection during a crash. Also have ESP, ABS with EBD, CSC, and more.

Tata Motors introduced the Tata Altroz back in January 2020. In the financial year 2025-26, a total of 38,153 units were sold, which reflects the 8% year-to-year growth. With the launch of the new variant, sales are expected to grow in FY27, as the newly introduced trims will give more tough competition to the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG.
