The 2026 Renault Triber Turbo launched at ₹7.84 lakh with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol internal combustion engine that delivers 100 PS power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 10.8 seconds, 6.2 seconds faster than the NA-petrol variants.
Renault India is selling the Renault Triber from August 2019 with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine, and now they have added a new powertrain option for this seven-seater vehicle that is 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged.
On September 28, 2026, the Indian subsidiary of the French automobile manufacturer launched this vehicle in a total of three variants: Evaluation, Techno, and Emotion. They are available only with the manual gearbox. The ex-showroom prices for the first, second, and third are ₹7.84 lakh, ₹8.53 lakh, and ₹8.99 lakh, respectively.
For clarity, the model available with the naturally aspirated ICE is still on sale. This car with the NA internal combustion engine is available in a total of four variants, the three that we have mentioned, and the other one is Authentic. These four variants are available for only MT; for the AMT, only one variant is on sale, which is Emotion.
The ex-showroom price for the NA petrol-powered ICE variants starts from ₹5.80 lakh and goes up to ₹8.52 lakh. Notably, turbo-petrol ICE delivers 100 PS power and 180 Nm torque; compared to the NA engine performance, it cranks 28 PS more and 84 Nm more, making the 0 to 100 kmph acceleration possible in just 10.8 seconds.

With increased power, the car now accelerates faster, reaches higher speeds more easily, and maintains speed at higher speeds; and even with the more torque, it becomes easy for this Renault car to start from a standstill, climb hills, and overtake other vehicles without any extra load.
The carmaker itself has confirmed that it has certified fuel efficiency of 21 kmpl with the pure petrol. The real-world mileage will be significantly lower for Indian drivers because that fuel we use has 20% ethanol, resulting in less fuel efficiency, and other reasons are road conditions and driving style.
The recently launched Renault Triber is actually a multiple-purpose vehicle that is also referred to as a multi-utility vehicle. It underpins the Renault Group Entry Platform. The carmaker hasn’t just launched this car with a new turbo-petrol ICE; they also made other upgrades and improvements.
Renault says that they have revised the suspension geometry, front and rear anti-roll bars, MTV damper technology, brake calibration, vehicle dynamics tuning, and structural elements to enhance driving experience and safety.

Replacing the old one, a new Renault Engine Management System also has been introduced for this model to manage performance and efficiency; even its thermal management is also revised, now a cooling system with a brushless DC fan has been introduced for enhanced efficiency.
The drivetrain is front-wheel drive, also the new powertrain; the company also revealed its dimensions. The length, width, and height are 3,985 mm, 1,935 mm, and 1,643 mm, respectively, with the wheelbase of 2,636 mm and ground clearance of 182 mm.

Even the boot space has been revealed officially. The cargo capacity when all seats are in use is 84 liters, but it can be expanded up to 625 liters by folding the second-row seats. The fuel tank capacity is a 40-liter turbo-petrol engine, the same as the naturally aspirated model.
By launching the Renault Triber with the turbo-petrol ICE powertrain, the French carmaker has strengthened its position in the ₹10 lakh seven-seater segment. For middle buyers who want a petrol-powered MPV that can run smoothly on high speed with excellent performance, this recently launched car is an ideal choice.
