Most Expensive 200cc Bikes in India 2026: Are They Worth It?

In India, 200cc motorcycles are the first choice for the young professionals, college students, daily commuters, and beginner adventure enthusiasts, as they offer a mix of performance and daily usability. Every year, many models in the 200cc segment with excellent performance and features are launched to fulfill the needs of the market.

As of early June 2026, dozens of 200cc bike models are available for sale in the Indian market; among them, the top five most expensive 200cc motorcycles in descending order are the KTM RC 200, the KTM 200 Duke, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the Honda NX200 and the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. Let’s have a closer look at each of the above-mentioned 200cc bikes.

KTM RC 200

The entry-level track-focused supersport motorcycle KTM RC 200 is available for sale with an ex-showroom price of ₹2.15 lakh in New Delhi. Features a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine that is mated with a smooth 6-speed manual gearbox; the power output is 24.6 bhp at 10,000 rpm, and peak torque is 19.2 Nm at 8,000 rpm. 

It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.2 seconds and go up to the maximum speed of 200 km/h. Its ARAI mileage is 43.5 litres, but real-world mileage is 35 km/l in mixed driving conditions. Features a fuel tank of 13.5 litres that helps in running up to 470 km without stopping for refilling, and a seat height of 835 mm gives a comfortable seating position for individuals 28th height from 5’7” to 5’10”.

KTM 200 Duke

The entry-level streetfighter motorcycle, KTM 200 Duke, is available for sale with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.91 lakh in New Delhi. Features a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that is bolted with a six-speed manual gearbox in a pattern of 1-up and 5-downs. It generates the maximum power of 25 PS at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 8,000 rpm. 

Notably, it clocks from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.5 seconds; the top speed it can reach is 140 km/h. Its mileage is 35 kmpl on the ARAI cycle, but in the real world, it is 32 kmpl in ideal conditions. With the fuel tank of 13.4 litres, it can give a range of 430 km. The kerb weight is 159 kg, the saddle height is 822 mm, the wheelbase is 1,357 mm, and the ground clearance is 155 mm.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200

The fully faired sportbike Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available for sale with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.71 lakh in New Delhi. It features a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4-valve engine, which is mounted with a slick 6-speed manual gearbox and features triple-spark (DTS-i) technology. It delivers 24.5 PS power at 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. 

To sprint from 0 to 60 kmph, it takes only 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed it can reach while riding is 140 kmph. Bajaj Auto claims that its fuel efficiency is 35 kmpl, but the user reported it as 33 kmpl for mixed driving in ideal conditions. It features a fuel tank of 13 litres, has a fuel reserve of 2 litres, and a seat height of 810 km, giving an ideal seating position for riders with a height of 5’7” and above.

Honda NX200

Honda NX200

The adventure-styled, road-biased touring motorcycle, the Honda NX200, was previously known as the Honda CB200X. Available for sale with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.56 lakh. It gets a 184.4 cc single-cylinder air-cooled OBD-2 B-compliant motor engine bolted with the five-speed gearbox and paired with an assist and slipper clutch. The engine put out 17 PS power at 8,500 rpm and 16.1 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm. 

It takes 4.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h, and Honda Motor Corp claims it can go up to the speed of 130 km/h. The company claims that it can run up to 35 km with 1 litre of petrol, but in actuality, it gives a real-world mileage of 33 kmpl. Its dimensions are 2035 mm × 843 mm × 1248 mm, and the seat height and wheelbase are 810 mm and 1355 mm, respectively. 

Xpulse 200 4V

The entry-level dual-purpose adventure motorcycle Xpulse 200 4V is available in multiple variants, which cost ex-showroom between ₹1.43 lakh and ₹1.56 lakh. It gets a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, 4-valve engine, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox in a 1-up and 4-down pattern. The ICE generates a maximum power of 18.9 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 17.35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. 

To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, it takes 4.33 seconds and reaches a speed of up to 135 km/h. The ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 32.9 kmpl, but the real-world mileage under ideal conditions is 30 kmpl. It features a fuel tank of 13 litres, meaning it gives a range of 390 km for mixed driving. Its standard variant has a seat height of 825 mm, but the pro has 891 mm.
