The upcoming street-naked motorcycle, the Kawasaki Z300, launch date is now officially confirmed. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Kawasaki has officially confirmed that they will launch this upcoming bike on October 20, 2026. A day before the launch, the company will start the booking via the authorized dealership and the company’s official website.

This upcoming motorcycle will make its positioning in the Z-series lineup. From the Kawasaki, a total of five models are on sale in the Z-series family; these models are the Kawasaki Z650, the Kawasaki Z650RS, the Kawasaki Z900, the Kawasaki Z1100, and the Kawasaki Z H2 SE. The Kawasaki Z300 will be positioned as entry-level in the lineup.

Based on the Kawasaki Ninja 300 platform.

The Japanese bikemaker showcased the upcoming Kawasaki Z300 in Bangalore at a private event revealing the exterior design. The company says that this imminent bike is based on the platform, which also underpins the Kawasaki Ninja 300. Reports suggest that its silhouette is quite similar to the existing Kawasaki Z900.

On October 18, 2026, Kawasaki will showcase this upcoming bike to the public in Mumbai and Pune, and then we will get to know about its design. Details regarding its design are yet to emerge. Reportedly, two color options will be available for this motorcycle; they are green and black, providing options to buyers to choose from.

What else do we know about this imminent Kawasaki bike?

Regarding the design, nothing is official. Reports say the upcoming Kawasaki Z300 has a sharp headlight design and an aggressive streetfighter face at the front end and features Muscular fuel-tank styling, exposed engine and minimal bodywork, a wide and upright handlebar, a rear boat compact tail section, a sporty rear profile, and a naked-bike styling.

Powertrain details are still pending. According to the reports, this upcoming Kawasaki bike is equipped with a 296 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin petrol-powered internal combustion engine that is bolted to the six-speed gearbox. Reports even say this ICE puts out 39 hp power and 26.1 Nm torque. More details will emerge at the launch event.

Anything about features?

From the private showcase event of the Kawasaki Z300, no single video and image has come out. That’s why very few details about this upcoming bike are available. Regarding the design, we do learn a few things based on reports; however, no report confirms anything concerning the features.

Based on expectations, some reports suggest that the Kawasaki Z300 will feature a TFT display instead of the semi-digital unit found on the existing Kawasaki Ninja 300. If a TFT instrument cluster is introduced, it is likely that turn-by-turn navigation and other smart features will also be available.

Price and rivals.

Kawasaki has not yet disclosed any details regarding the ex-showroom price. However, various reports suggest that the cost could be around that of the existing Kawasaki Ninja 300. For reference, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is priced at ₹3.24 lakh. As per the report, the upcoming two-wheeler model may cost ex-showroom around ₹3 lakh.

If the Kawasaki Z300 is available with the ex-showroom price around ₹3 lakh, in the Indian market it will compete with the street fighters that will be available with the same tags. The Aprilia Tuono 457, KTM 390 Duke, and TVS Apache RTR 310 are the motorcycles that are expected to get tough competition from the upcoming one.
