A flagship adventure motorcycle from Hero Motocorp has been spotted testing in Leh; reportedly, it may be called the Hero Xpulse 420 or the Hero Xpulse 421. This motorcycle may make its global debut in November 2026 at the EICMA. The launch is expected in the first quarter of 2026 as a competitor of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure. Its spotting has revealed many details; let’s have a closer look at them.
The spy video of its test mules reveals that it has a large adventure fuel tank; we are expecting that its capacity is around 15 liters to offer better touring range. Other highlights from the video are:

- hand-ground to protect the hand and fingers from the flying debris;

At the center of the handlers, it has a TFT display, which is expected to support Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and music control. Additionally, it will show all the riding-related data, which are as follows:

The left-side handlebar has dedicated driving mode buttons, which clearly indicate that the vehicle is equipped with multiple driving modes, and on the right side, it has a cruise control switch, meaning this motorcycle is set to come with cruise control, a premium feature in the segment, which helps in maintaining the speed without throttle use.
Built on a trellis frame, whose front and rear suspension are USD (upside-down) forks and monoshock, respectively, they are fully adjustable to provide a comfortable riding experience on rough terrain and improve ride quality by absorbing the bumps efficiently. Features spoked wheels, as they are more durable for off-roading.
The front wheel is expected to be 21 inches in size, and the rear may measure 18 inches. Both wheels get disc brakes for powerful braking with better heat absorption with a double-channel anti-locking braking system to prevent the wheel from locking in case of sudden braking. The rear-wheel ABS is most likely to be switchable for off-road use.
The manufacturer will reveal all the specifications and features with the launch. The length is anticipated to be around 2.25 meters with a wheelbase of 1.5 meters. Its ground clearance is likely to be above 230 mm, and kerb weight is expected to be 185-190 kg. A seat height of 820 mm is anticipated to provide a comfortable riding position for individuals above 5 feet 6 inches.
