Dacia Striker Revealed: 600L Boot, Hybrid Power, 4×4 & Premium Cabin

On July 8, 2026, Dacia, the Romanian automobile manufacturer, officially unveiled the Dacia Striker by releasing an official reveal video on its YouTube channel. Notably, the carmaker will launch it in late 2026 under the price of €25,000 (₹27.20 lakh). The video shared online revealed its exterior and interior. Let’s have a closer look.

Front, side, and rear

Upfront, it gets a sculpted bonnet giving a muscular and sporty stance; a wide back grill with an illuminated Dacia logo and six square-shaped LED units improving its road appearance with a modern and premium look; T-shaped daylight running lights improving visibility to other road users; slim LED headlights illuminating the road for safe nighttime driving; lower air intakes helping with better air to flow into the engine bay; and vertical air curtains reducing aerodynamic turbulence.

On the sides, it has flared wheel arches, improving the SUV-inspired stance; floating-effect large alloy wheels give the illusion of “floating” spokes and enhance the visual appeal; blackout A-pillar-mounted outside rear-view mirrors give a clear view of vehicles running behind; ORVMs integrated with blinkers enhance visibility for other road users and give a hint of the next move; and mechanical door handles are for better practicality even.

At the back, it has a roof-integrated spoiler to reduce drag and improve stability at high speed, T-shaped LED taillights that are connected with a black trim on the tailgate to create a wide stance, DACIA lettering on the black trim for branding, rugged bumper cladding with a silver skid plate on the side for underbody safety, and a side reflector beneath the bumper to make the vehicle visible at night to other road users even though the taillights are off.

Interior and features

Inside, it has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a Dacia logo, under which there’s a fully digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data; the size is anticipated to be around 10.1 inches. The center of the dashboard has a landscape-oriented touchscreen infotainment system; it may measure 12.3 inches and is set to support wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air software updates, and AI-based voice commands.

Slim central air vents with copper-colored accent tabs are available below the infotainment system and on the sides, and the physical buttons for their control are available just above the center console. A large glovebox is available before the co-passenger seat to help with carrying the small items conventionally.

Other notable inside cabins are electronic gear selector, rotary drive mode dial, push-button start or stop, cup holders at the center console, front center armrest with storage, automatic climate control, controls for powered windows on the doors, a panoramic sunroof, and 600 liters of boot space behind the second-row seats to carry luggage.

Powertrain and specs

Reportedly, the Dacia will introduce the model with three different powertrains that are Mild Hybrid 140, Hybrid 155, and Hybrid 150 4×4.

The first one is set to get a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, which generates the power of 140 PS. The transmission and drivetrain for it are a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.

The second one will feature a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered ICE and two electric motors; one will act as a starter generator and the other as a primary that will move the wheels. It will also have a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack; the combined power output is set to be 155 PS. Notably, its drivetrain is front-wheel drive, and transmission is multi-mode automatic.

And the third one will get all from the Mild Hybrid 140 variant and an electric motor on the rear axle featuring an electrified all-wheel-drive drivetrain; its transmission option is a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The combined power output is 150 PS.
