The 2027 Kawasaki Z650 S, Z900, and Z900 SE are set to go on sale from October 1, 2026, with new color options for the United Kingdom giving choices to buyers to choose from.
Kawasaki, the Japanese multinational company and engineering manufacturer, has introduced the Kawasaki Z650 S, Kawasaki Z900, and Kawasaki Z900 SE with new color options in the United Kingdom to give buyers more choices. Among them, the Z900 is the only model that is available on sale in the Indian market; new color options for the same haven’t been announced here, but we are expecting them in the near future.
The manufacturer has introduced these color options as the 2027 model, whose sale in the United Kingdom is all set to begin on October 1, 2026. The price won’t remain the same as of now; a little increase depending on the price is anticipated depending on the variant. Let’s have a closer look at the new color options for each variant.
Kawasaki Z650 S, Z900, and Z900 SE have new color options.
The new color options for these motorcycles add exclusivity for the UK riders. The first two have been introduced with three color options, two tones and one three-tone, and the last one has only one but a triple-tone. Among them, the most exclusive color option is available for the Z900 SE.
The color options of the Z650 S are dual-tone Ebony and Metallic Carbon Gray for understated and mature buyers; double-tone Candy Persimmon Red and Metallic Carbon Gray for sporty and attention-loving riders; and triple-tone Pearl Blizzard White, Ebony, and Candy Lime Green for classic Kawasaki fans.
The new color options for the Z900 are the same as the first two color options of the Z650 S; the third one is triple-tone Pearl Blizzard White, Plasma Lime Green, and Ebony for the riders who want a premium and standout look. The only triple-tone color options for the Z900 SE are Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray, Metallic Matte Carbon Gray, and Golden Blazed Green for the riders who prefer subtle exclusivity.
The rest for the Kawasaki Z650 S, Z900, and Z900 SE remains the same.
The length, width, and height for the Kawasaki Z650 S measure 2,055 mm, 805 mm, and 1,080 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 1,410 mm, ground clearance of 130 mm, and seat height of 805 mm; and the Kawasaki Z900 and Z900 SE measure 2,065 mm in length, 830 mm in width, and 1,075 mm in height. Their wheelbase is 1,450 mm, ground clearance is 145 mm, and seat height is 830 mm.
The fuel tank capacity for the Kawasaki Z650 S is 15 liters, but the same for the Kawasaki Z900 and Z900 SE is 17 liters. They all get a TFT instrument display between the handlebar supporting Rideology smartphone connectivity; traction control is available in all variants, but the KTRC is for the Z650 S and Switchable for the other two. Quickshifter is available for the Z650 S as an optional accessory and as up/down for the Z900 and Z900 SE.
The Z900 and Z900 SE variants are available with the electronic cruise control, power modes, IMU-based electronics, cornering management, and turn-by-turn navigation. The most exclusive trim has Premium SE-spec adjustable suspension at the front and Öhlins shock at the rear; for this variant, the Brembo front calipers are also certain.
The Z650 S gets a 649 cc parallel-twin engine with a six-speed transmission that delivers the 50.2 kW (68 PS) power at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm torque at 6,700 rpm, and the Z900 and Z900 SE feature a 948 cc inline-four engine also with a six-speed automatic transmission; its power output is 91 kW (124 PS) at 9,500 rpm, and its torque is 97.4 Nm at 7,700 rpm. All these variants have a wet multi-disc clutch.
