Mahindra Auto released a teaser video on August 11, 2026, and confirmed the arrival of a new edition for the already on-sale electric SUV, BE 6, which is set to be known by the name BE 6 Sporteq; and a day after that, i.e., on August 12, 2026, they dropped another teaser with the caption ‘Something bigger is on its way. Born for a Bigger World. 14.08.26’ revealing that the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup is debuting on August 14, 2026.
This upcoming pickup from Mahindra is based on the Global Pickup concept, which was showcased back in August 2023. They have teased it by releasing a teaser video on Instagram, which gives a glimpse of the exterior and interior. Its unveiling will take place at the launch event, from where we will get to know its design, features, dimensions, specifications, and all we are eagerly waiting for.
What does the teaser reveal?
Upfront it has L-shaped daylight running lights on the sides to improve the pickup’s daytime visibility on the road for other users, which bracket the main headlights, including high beams and low beams that illuminate the road for nighttime driving. Below the headlights’ housing, it gets fog lamps on the bumper in a vertical shape in order to enhance visibility in case of bad weather conditions.

Another detail that we get to know from the teaser video about its exterior is that it has an upright grill with a Twin Peaks logo for branding; the front camera is placed under the same, suggesting that the pickup is coming with a 360-degree camera. As it is based on the Scorpio N facelift, we are expecting that it may instead debut with a 540-degree camera, adding under-bonnet view.

The roof-mounted spoiler and A-pillar-mounted outside rear-view mirror are clearly visible in the teaser. The video even shows the rear portion, which reveals that the pickup is equipped with C-shaped LED taillamps, giving the modern touch and improving its night visibility to other road users. It is set to feature a large cargo bed with a flat opening tailgate to ensure easier loading and unloading.
Interior Also Spied?
The teaser video Mahindra Auto shared online also shows the interior view, confirming that it borrows a lot from the Scorpio N facelift. Inside, it has a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel; behind the same, there’s a slim digital instrument cluster, and the center of the dashboard has a vertically oriented touchscreen infotainment system.

Other cabin features that are teased are a panoramic sunroof, which is unusual for a pickup; with this feature it is going to give tough competition to the recently launched ninth-generation Toyota Hilux. A rotary knob is clearly visible on the center console just below the centrally mounted screen; it seems to be climate control.
When the carmaker showed the concept for three years, they formally confirmed that they pickup will make its debut in the Indian market with smart features and technology such as Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for the infotainment screen, and a wireless phone charging pad.
Powertrain Expectations
Under the hood, it is anticipated to get a 2.2-liter mHawk turbocharged diesel-powered internal combustion engine. Two transmission options are expected; they may be six-speed manual and automatic. Its drivetrain is anticipated to be 4XPLOR all-wheel-drive. The ICE may generate the maximum power of 172 bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm.
It is also likely that they will introduce the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup with a petrol-powered internal combustion engine, but the launch with diesel power is highly anticipated for commercial positioning in the domestic market and for the global market too. May form four drive modes, which are Normal, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut, and Sand.
