VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s dedicated electric mobility brand, launched the VIDA VX2 Go FB on July 31, 2026. The fixed-battery variant for the VIDA VX2 Go electric scooter is available for sale in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price of ₹1.13 lakh. Compared to the removable battery variant, VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, it is costlier by ₹13,510.
Notably, bookings for the same has been started with the launch; anyone who is interested in buying may book through VIDA’s official website or authorised VIDA dealerships. They also have confirmed that the delivery of the model will begin in August 2026; the actual date is still uncertain but likely to happen before Independence Day.
Equipped with a 3.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack giving the IDC range of 128 km, the real-world range is anticipated to be around 90 km for city driving and 100 km on the highway. It gets a swingarm-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a single-speed automatic reduction gearbox, which moves the wheels via belt drive.
The electric motor generates continuous and maximum power of 4 kW and 6 kW, respectively, and peak torque is 25 Nm. Its top speed is 70 kmph. Its main rivals in the Indian market are Ola S1 X+, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta S, Bajaj Chetak 3001 and Honda Activa e.
It supports fast DC charging via VIDA public fast chargers, currently limited to Tier 1 cities, which takes 1 hour and 5 minutes for 0 to 80 per cent charging and 2 hours and 10 minutes for full charging. A 580W AC (alternative current) charger comes with a scooter, which takes 6 hours for a full charge.
Features two riding modes, which are Eco and Ride, giving better efficiency and strong performance, respectively; reverse mode helps in easily going backwards at a very low speed using the motor, which becomes helpful for parking or manoeuvring in tight spaces; and the regenerative brake converts the scooter’s kinetic energy back into electricity for the brake and throttle.
Built on Hero MotoCorp’s modular VIDA V2 platform with a tubular steel underbone chassis, whose front and rear suspension are telescopic forks and a single-sided monoshock, respectively. Equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, the front gets a solid disc brake and the rear features a drum. Also features CBS, which distributes braking force between the wheels.
Features an LED headlamp with LED DRLs for better visibility on the road at night and an LED tail lamp to make it visible to other road users from the back. The long single-piece seat is clearly visible from the side, which has soft-touch upholstery to ensure comfortable seating for both rider and pillion.
For the leg support of the pillion it has foldable footpegs, and a flat and wide floorboard gives ample space for the rider’s feet and also helps in carrying luggage. Under the seat, it has 27.2-litre boot space that helps in carrying college or office supplies or can easily accommodate two helmets.
Other notable features are an external charging port for direct plug-in charging and a USB charging port for the phone’s convenience. Also features a side-stand safety cut-off, which doesn’t let the scooter move if the side stand is open. They have introduced it to ensure the safety of riders and pillions and other road users.
Between the handlebars, it has a 4.3-inch LCD digital instrument cluster showing all the driving-related information clearly, which supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and features turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and ride statistics and vehicle information.
