The Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda Auto launched the Skoda Kushaq back in June 2021 in the Indian market and then introduced the facelift of the same in March 2026 with cosmetic changes and feature upgrades to stay competitive. As of May 2026, this car has crossed the sales figure of 1 lakh units.
Reportedly, since the launch, they have sold a total of 1,00,838 units, including 21,427, 25,300, 23,396, 17,363, and 3,161 in fiscal years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 (April to May), respectively. Among the fiscal years, 2023 was the year in which they sold the highest number of units.
As of now, in the ongoing year of 2026, they have sold a total of 6,367 units, including 890, 9, 2,307, 1,851, and 1,310 units in January, February, March, April, and May, respectively. In March, when the carmaker introduced the facelift, they sold a total of 2,307 units, the highest in 2026 till now, registering a MoM growth of 25,533%.
In the fiscal year 2027, they have sold 3,161 units in just two months, including April and May. Notably, in April, following the month of the facelift launch, they sold 1,851 units, but sales in May 2026 reduced by 541 units, registering a month-on-month degrowth of 29.23%.
Ex-showroom Price, Features & Specifications

The facelift of the Skoda Kushaq is available for sale in five variants that are Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo, whose ex-showroom prices start from ₹10.69 lakh and go up to ₹18.99 lakh. The length, width and height are 4,225 mm, 1,760 mm, and 1,612 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 2,651 mm, ground clearance is 188 mm, and turning radius is 5.3 metres.
It comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a 2-3 layout with a boot space of 385 litres. Inside the cabin, it features a two-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons on it; under the same, there’s a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster which shows the turn-by-turn navigation and other driving data. The centre of the dashboard gets a 10.1-inch horizontal touchscreen infotainment system.
The infotainment screen is integrated with an 8-speaker Skoda sound system, which supports wireless connectivity via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth for video and audio streaming; it also features the Google Gemini AI voice assistant, over-the-air software updates, and connected car technology. Physical buttons for control and settings are available on the central console.
Front seats are electronically adjustable in six ways so the driver and co-passenger may set a comfortable seating position; they are also ventilated to ensure the body stays cool during the hot weather. Other notable features are a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Stability Control, and ABS with EBD.
Available with two internal combustion engine options: 1.0L TSI Turbo-Petrol (3-Cylinder) and 1.5L TSI EVO Turbo-Petrol (4-Cylinder). The 1.0L engine comes with two transmission options: 6-speed manual and 8-speed torque converter, which generate the peak power of 115 PS and peak torque of 178 Nm. The ARAI-certified mileage with automatic transmission is 19.09 kmpl, and the same with manual is 19.66 kmpl.
The 1.5L engine is available with only a 7-speed DSG transmission and delivers the peak power and torque of 150 PS and 250 Nm, respectively. Its ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 18.72 kmpl. The fuel tank capacity is 50 litres; if you opt for the standard engine, you can drive around 950 km without stopping for refuelling, and in case you go for the powerful option, you may drive up to 900 km.
