Honda Elevate Facelift Spied: New Design + Possible Hybrid by Diwali 2026

The facelift of the Honda Elevate, a mid-size five-seater sport utility vehicle, will make its debut in the Indian market very soon. Recently, the MotorBeam spotted it testing on public roads in Delhi. In the spy shots shared on the Instagram page, the vehicle is highly camouflaged, which indicates that the upcoming updated Elevate from Honda Cars India has received many exterior upgrades on the front end and back.

Seeing the image, you will find that its overall silhouette is the same. As a facelift, it is set to come with many cosmetic changes. We expect that it will feature a redesigned grille to make the front-end look more premium, a revised front bumper with new air intake styling and sharper lines to enhance its sport appearance, and updated headlamps to ensure better visibility for nighttime driving.

Other changes expected on the exterior are new alloy wheels designed in a double-tone pattern to improve the side profile, revised taillamps to give it a fresh rear look, and a redesigned bumper with sharp sculpting to make its SUV characteristics stronger. Some reports also suggest that the carmaker is planning to introduce new exterior color options to make it more appealing to drivers.

The spy shots of the Honda Elevate facelift don’t include any image showing its interior, meaning as of now, we don’t have any details of what changes are made inside the cabin. The manufacturer may introduce it with new interior themes with updated upholstery and trims for the dashboard and windows to make the cabin feel more premium.

Notably, the carmaker is highly expected to introduce the vehicle with ventilated front seats to ensure better comfort for the driver and co-passenger passengers; the addition of this feature will make long-distance driving more convenient on summer days. The infotainment may be replaced with a large touchscreen with a smooth user interface that will support OTA over-the-air, connected car technology, and wireless multi-device connectivity.

The steering wheel is expected to get more soft-touch trims for better grip, and the semi-digital instrument cluster is highly anticipated to be replaced with the fully digital one, which shows all the driving data clearly. Other expected feature upgrades are ambient lighting across the dashboard, a wireless phone charging pad on the center console, a 360° camera for a surround view, and rear USB ports for phone charging convenience.

Dimensionally, the Honda Elevate facelift is set to remain the same as the one already available for sale in India, whose length, width, height, wheelbase, and ground clearance are 4320 mm, 1740 mm, 1650 mm, 2650 mm, and 220 mm, respectively. As a five-seater in a traditional 2-3 layout, it gets a boot space of 458 liters behind the second-row seats that help in carrying small luggage. It features a fuel tank of 40 liters that makes the long journey convenient.

No mechanical changes are reported. The car is built on the Global Small Car Platform featuring a FWD drivetrain, which also underpins the Honda City and Honda Amaze. The front and rear suspensions are MacPherson strut and torsion beam. Front wheels feature ventilated disc brakes for better stopping power, but rear drums are not as powerful as discs but are good enough for rear-wheel braking. It also features an anti-lock braking system and electronic brake-force distribution to ensure safe braking.

The powertrain and performance are also set to remain the same. Under the hood, it gets a 1,498 cc four-cylinder 1.5 L naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol internal combustion engine, which delivers the power of 121 PS and peak torque of 145 Nm. It comes with two different transmission options: the six-speed manual and CVT. With the former one it takes 10.8 seconds, but with the latter it takes 12.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed is 167 km/h with both gearbox options.
