By 2027, Maruti Suzuki, the Indian automobile manufacturer, will launch five SUVs with internal combustion engines. They are the Maruti Suzuki Breeza Facelift, Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift, Maruti Suzuki Fronx Facelift, Maruti Suzuki Y43, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Facelift. Let’s have a closer look at each of the upcoming SUVs from the carmaker.
Maruti Suzuki Breeza Facelift

Maruti Suzuki will launch the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift by late 2026; it is expected to be introduced with a revised front grille, new front and rear bumpers, tweaked LED headlamps and taillights, and an updated alloy wheel design. The interior is also expected to see upgrades such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats and powered driver seats, and level 2 ADAS.
Set to be introduced with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol internal combustion engine, which generates a peak power of 103 PS and torque of 137 Nm. Available with both transmission options- 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic and a single drivetrain, that is, front-wheel drive. They haven’t revealed the price; we expect it to be between ₹9 lakh and ₹14 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift

Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce the Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift in the last quarter of 2026 with many upgrades and changes. Reportedly, it will get a new wider grille; a sharper front bumper; revised LED headlamps for better visibility and a modern appearance; a more premium fascia design; tweaked tail-lamp graphics; a connected LED light bar; and a revised rear bumper.
They are also expected to make upgrades in the interior, a larger touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard, an updated digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel, and new upholstery for seats and trims for the dashboard. May be continued with a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol 3-cylinder NA ICE, which delivers 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque. The transmission options are 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Facelift

Maruti Suzuki is all set to reveal and launch the Maruti Suzuki Fronx facelift in early 2027 with the all-new series-hybrid (range-extender) powertrain to improve efficiency. It is already spotted with camouflage on Indian roads, revealing that this car is coming with revised LED daylight running lights and main headlamps, as well as a bumper and grille giving it a modern touch.
The upgrades aren’t limited to the exterior; they also made changes inside the cabin, although they haven’t revealed the details officially. Reportedly, it gets updated seat upholstery, a large infotainment system just above the central console, and ventilated front seats. Both internal combustion engine options are set to be continued: the 1.2-litre NA petrol and the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol.
Maruti Suzuki Y43

Maruti Suzuki will launch the Maruti Suzuki Y43, a micro sport utility vehicle, probably in the second half of 2027. They haven’t revealed the production name; the name ‘Y43’ is internally codenamed. Following the launch, it will compete with the Tata Punch, the Hyundai Exter, and the Citroen C3. We expect that they will introduce it with an ex-showroom price starting from ₹7 lakh and may go up to ₹10 lakh.
Reportedly, the carmaker is developing it on the Suzuki HEARTECT platform; they are likely to reveal it early in 2027. As of now, the manufacturer hasn’t revealed any dimensions, but many reports suggest that it will measure around 3,800 mm, and inside, the car will feature an electric sunroof, a wireless phone charger, USB Type-C fast charging, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Facelift

Maruti Suzuki is working on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara facelift; they may launch it in the Indian market in the first half of 2027. The carmaker will introduce it in the Indian market with many cosmetic changes, including a revised grille design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, more large wheel options, updated LED headlamp graphics and daylight running light signatures, and new exterior colour options.
Inside, it may get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the centre of the dashboard with wireless connectivity, OTA updates, and an AI-based voice assistant. Under the steering, it is anticipated to feature a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Other expected upgrades are a powered tailgate with gesture control, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and ventilated front seats.
