The Royal Enfield is all set to release the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition on August 18, 2026, paying tribute to the Gorkha Regiments. Before the launch, it had been spotted in the showroom; the spy shots of the same are now floating on social media. The spied images reveal a new light olive-green paint finish and Gorkha Edition branding on the fuel tank and side panels with the crossed Khukri motif.
The Gokha Edition of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle is ideal for the military-inspired styling enthusiasts; the Indian motorcycle manufacturer will reveal its price with the launch. Notably, it is set to be a little costlier than the standard one. As the one already on sale is available with the ex-showroom price between ₹1.87 lakh and ₹2.23 lakh, the upcoming is anticipated to go on sale with the price around ₹2.30 lakh.
Besides the above-mentioned upgrades and improvements, this motorcycle remains the same in all other respects. The Gorkha Edition of this bike is named after the Gorkha Regiments, historic infantry regiments of the Indian Army, which are known for their courage, discipline, and battlefield service. This edition is likely to drive more footfall in the showroom from Uttarakhand, West Bengal’s Darjeeling hills, Himachal Pradesh, and Sikkim.
Its length, width, and height are 2,145 mm, 785 mm, and 1,090 mm, respectively. The wheelbase is 1,390 mm, ground clearance is 170 mm, and fuel tank capacity is 13 liters. It features an LED headlamp to illuminate the road, an LED rear light to make the vehicle visible from the back to other road users, a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog speedometer and LCD display showing all the riding-related information, and a USB Type-C fast charging port for phone charging convenience.
The seat height is 800 mm, giving a comfortable seating position for individuals with heights between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 9 inches, and the kerb weight is 195 kg, slightly heavier but can be handled easily by an experienced rider. Split seats, ensured with soft-touch upholstery, give comfortable seating for both rider and pillion. The pillion seat gets grab rails for a secure handhold, and there’s a foldable footpeg near the rear suspensions.
Front indicators are mounted on the lower side of the headlamp and rear on the side of the taillamps. Built on the J-series platform with a twin-downtube spine-type frame, whose front and rear suspension are a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shock absorbers, respectively. Equipped with 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels with the solid disc brake and double-channel anti-locking braking to prevent wheel locking.
The Classic 350 is available for the Indian market already in ten editions, which are Redditch, Signals, Dark, Chrome, Halcyon, Heritage, Heritage Premium, Classic Chrome, Stealth Black, Flex Fuel, and Gorkha Edition. The upcoming Gorkha Edition will add the eleventh edition, which will also be powered by the same. 349cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-oil-cooled internal combustion engine, which features electronic fuel injection.
The ICE generates the power of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Get assistance and a slipper clutch and a 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox.
