Nissan Gravite Just Got Costlier: But Is It Still Worth ₹5.73L?
The Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan launched the Nissan Gravite, a subcompact multi-purpose vehicle, featuring a seating capacity of seven people in a 2-3-2 layout. The carmaker introduced it in the Indian market back in February 2026 with the ex-showroom price ranging from ₹5.65 lakh to ₹8.93 lakh. On June 8, 2026, they increased the price, ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹18,400.
The Visia MT now costs ₹5.73 lakh, ₹8,000 up from the old price; the Acenta MT costs ₹6.68 lakh, a ₹9,400 hike; the N-Connecta MT is available for ₹7.38 lakh, ₹18,400 costlier; the N-Connecta AMT is priced at ₹7.95 lakh and the Tekna AMT at ₹8.64 lakh, each a ₹15,000 increase; the Tekna LE MT costs ₹8.52 lakh and the Tekna MT at ₹8.08 lakh, each a ₹17,000 hike; and the Tekna LE AMT costs ₹9.08 lakh, a ₹14,500 increase.

Its main rivals in the Indian market are the Renault Triber, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Kia Carens. Even if the manufacturer has increased the ex-showroom price, it gives tough competition to each.
Specs & Features

Starting with the powertrain and performance, get a 999 cc 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol internal combustion engine under the hood, which generates the power of 71.01 bhp and a peak torque of 96 Nm. Offered with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual.
The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 15 seconds, and top speed goes up to 150 km/h. The ARAI-certified mileage with the manual and automatic transmissions is 19.3 kmpl and 19.6 kmpl, respectively. Notably, the real-world range with both gearbox options is 11 km/l in ideal conditions, with the fuel tank of 40 litres, giving a range of 440 kilometres.
Moving to dimensions and space, the length, width, and height are 3987 mm, 1734 mm, and 1644 mm, respectively. The wheelbase, the distance between the axles, is 2636 mm, and ground clearance is 182 mm. As a seven-seater, there’s no cargo space, but folding rear seats can create a boot capacity of 625 litres that helps in carrying big luggage.

Shifting focus to features and technology, the dashboard is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and under the steering wheel before the driver’s seat, there’s a 7-inch digital instrument cluster showing all the driving data.
The cabin gets a wireless phone charging pad, a six-speaker sound system, climate control with manual AC with dedicated rear vents, cruise control, and six airbags. Other features highlighted are electronic stability control, traction control system, hill-start assist, and anti-locking braking system with electronic braking.
