Earlier, we reported that Bajaj Auto will launch the next-gen Bajaj Pulsar on August 12, 2026, prior to which it has been leaked online. The image floating online shows the motorcycle in a dealership without any camouflage. In the previous report we have discussed that the upcoming next-generation bike can be either a 125 or a 150; now reports confirm that it is the next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125.
The leaked image shows it now has a sharper and more aggressive LED headlight to give it a more modern touch and ensure better visibility on the road for nighttime driving. It features redesigned fuel tank shrouds to make it more appealing. The revised taillamps enhance its rear view and make it more sporty and modern. Even if the exhaust has been revised, now it has a larger and non-cylindrical design.
Notably, its fuel tank design is quite similar to the outgoing one. The existing model gets two updates in January 2026, which are LED headlights and LED blinkers, and the leaked image shows that the blinkers, which were earlier LED, are replaced with halogen. The reason may be that the one spied at the dealership is the base model, and the top-end variant may come with the LED blinkers, although it is to be seen on the launch date.
Things that hint towards the spied model of the next-gen Bajaj Pulsar 125 being a base variant are the single-piece seat and single grab rails. The top trim of the same is expected to come with split seats and split grab rails, which further enhance the seating comfort for occupants and pillion and provide a better handhold. Additionally, they will enhance the side view and make it more appealing to young riders who prefer a little modern bike.
The spy image even reveals its colour LCD instrument cluster between the handlebars; now it is larger in size, showing all the driving-related information clearly. It is set to support Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts. Replacing the twin-shock, it features a monoshock at the rear; the front suspension remains the same. Equipped with 17-inch 5-spoke alloys with solid discs at the front and drums at the rear.
The powertrain and performance are set to remain the same. Set to be powered by a 124.38 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, DTS-i petrol-powered internal combustion engine, which generates the maximum power of 11.8 PS and peak torque of 10.8 Nm. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox, featuring a chain drive drivetrain and electronic fuel injection system. Its 0 to 60 km/h acceleration timing is 7 seconds and top speed is 105 km/h.
The upcoming next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 is expected to remain the same as the outgoing model in terms of dimensions; the existing one measures 2,055 mm, 755 mm, and 1,060 mm in length, width and height, respectively. The current’s wheelbase is 1,320 mm, ground clearance is 165 mm, and seat height is 790 mm. Its fuel tank capacity is 15 litres, and with average real-world fuel efficiency of 45 kmpl, it gives a range of 675 km.
As of now, there’s no update on the ex-showroom price of the next-gen Bajaj Pulsar 125. We are expecting that the base variant will cost ₹80,000 to ₹85,000, the mid-trim may cost ₹86,000 to ₹90,000, and the top-end from ₹91,000 to ₹96,000. Following the launch, it will strengthen its positioning against the Hero Xtreme 125R, the TVS Raider 125, the Honda SP125, and the Keeway SR125.
