New Tata Curvv Series X Debuts at ₹9.9 Lakh: What’s New in the ICE Coupe SUV?

On September 3, 2026, Tata.Cars launched the Tata Curvv Series X with the starting ex-showroom price of ₹9.9 lakh. It happened exactly after launching the Series X for its counterpart. They have introduced it to the domestic market for both petrol-powered and diesel-powered internal combustion engine options. Notably, there are two petrol ICEs and only one diesel; refer to the table for pricing of each.

What’s new in the ICE-powered Tata Curvv Series X?

The rear-seat space has been improved for the Tata Curvv Series X. Now, the front seat backs are 10 mm slimmer, the rear seats have moved 20 mm rearwards, and the seat height is lowered by 10 mm. To enhance the seating comfort for the rear seating, now it has rear AC vents, a center armrest, and a reclining function for the second-row seats.

The Smart X variant is equipped with the R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, a digital instrument cluster, and 6 airbags, ESP and ABS with EBD as standard safety features. The Pure X is equipped with the 10.25-inch Harman touchscreen with 6-speaker audio supporting Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Pure X+ also has Oyster White leatherette upholstery.

Tata Curvv Series X Cabin

The Creative X is equipped with a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera, a blind-view monitor, and twin 10.25-inch screens, one under the steering wheel and one at the dashboard’s center. The Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ also feature Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a 6-way powered driver’s seat. 

The top trim, Accomplished X+, also has 12.3-inch Harman infotainment with the 9-speaker JBL audio to make the cabin a mini theater, dual-zone climate control with an air purifier, a wireless charging pad at the center console, iRA-connected technology, Alexa integration, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate. 

The rest remains the same.

The powertrain remains the same. The 1.2-litre Turbo-Petrol is available with 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCA and delivers the power of 120 hp and 170 Nm; the 1.2-litre Direct-Injection Turbo-Petrol with only 7-speed DCA and its output is 125 hp and 225 Nm; and the 1.5-litre Diesel with 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCA generates 118 hp and 260 Nm.

The length, width, and height are still 4,308 mm, 1,810 mm, and 1,630 mm, respectively. Even the wheelbase remains 2,560 mm, and ground clearance stands at 208 mm. Seating layout 2-3 has been retained; the cargo space behind the second row seat is 500 liters that can be expanded up to 973 liters by folding rear seats. 

Its exterior is the same as earlier retain couple-like roofline, split headlights setup, hidden door handles, black wheel arch and lower body cladding, up to 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, a blackout outside rear view mirror on the A-pillar integrating side indicator, a full-width LED taillight, a minimalist tailgate, and a diffuser-style bumper. 

Tata Curvv Series X sidelook

It is still based on the Tata Advanced Architecture platform with a front-wheel-drive drivetrain; the front and rear suspension is an independent MacPherson strut with coil springs and a twist-beam axle with coil springs, respectively, the same as the existing models. Its wheels still have solid disc brakes to ensure strong braking with better heat dissipation.

Tata Curvv ICE/EV 2026 Sales

The Tata Curvv is available for sale in the Indian market as ICE and EV, and the carmaker releases the monthly sales data combinedly. In 2026, between the timeframes of January and July, they have delivered a total of 11,556, including 1,666 in January, 1,755 in February, 1,602 in March, 1,403 in April, 1,680 in May, 1,753 in June, and 1,697 in July. Their YoY and MoM growth and degrowth with the sales gap are shared inside the table.
