The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift grill patent design leaked. The new model is coming with an all-new grill, giving a totally new front-end design and adding freshness. Apart from this, the exterior will get other upgrades, and even the cabin is going to be equipped with smart features.
The Mahindra Scorpio N is a sport utility vehicle with a seating capacity of seven people in a two-two-three layout; it is available for sale in the Indian market from June 2022. Soon it will get a facelift with the refreshed exterior design that will be known as the 2027-year model.
For the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift, Mahindra Auto recently filed a patent for the grille.
The image of the same is floating on the internet, which reveals that the imminent 7-seater will have a wide grille with layered horizontal elements.
Notably, the grille has horizontal bars with shorter rectangular elements, and the central panel most likely gets a Mahindra Twin Peaks logo. There is also a small circular provision near the lower grille panel hinting at the placement of the front camera.

Other details that we found from the patent image regarding its design are the raised upper edge, angled outer sides, and rounded lower corners. The new front grille is all set to give a totally new front-end look for the upcoming facelift.
The 2027 Mahindra Scorpio N has already been spotted testing on public roads in India multiple times but wearing heavy camouflage. The most recent spy shots for this upcoming vehicle were shared by Auto X Jammu in early September 2026, which have revealed many fresh details.
The very same image shows only the front and side; it reveals that at the front end it will have round-shaped LED headlights, a sculpted bonnet, and a revised front bumper. On the sides, the pull-type door handles, pronounced roof-mounted rails, and steel wheels are clearly visible.
The use of steel wheels is a direct hint that it is the base variant, because the mid-range and top-end variants of the existing model already come with alloy wheels. The spotted lighting signature won’t come with the model that will go on sale; most probably they have used the setup to hide what is coming with the production one.

The actual design of the upcoming facelift will be revealed with the launch. Reports suggest that many things on its exterior are going to be similar to the recently showcased Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler, such as slim lighting and horizontal treatment to the grille. Feature upgrades inside the cabin are also expected to enhance convenience.
Besides the improvement on its exterior and inside the cabin, the rest is most likely the same. Meaning the dimensions, powertrain, underpinning, suspension, and even braking system will be familiar to the outing model. The length, width, and height are set to be 4,662 mm, 1,917 mm, and 1,857 mm, respectively, with 2,750 mm.
The 1,997 cc 2.0 Turbo-Petrol and 2,184 cc 2.2 Turbo-Diesel internal combustion engines are expected to continue; they both may be introduced with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmissions. The former one is rear-wheel-drive, and the latter is also all-wheel-drive.
With the new grill design, the front end of the 2027 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift will be totally new, giving the modern touch and appearance. The imminent seven-seater car with the new upgrades and improvements will strengthen its positioning against the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and Jeep Meridian.
Mahindra Auto hasn’t confirmed any date for the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift launch; the carmaker may launch it in 2027, announcing the price and revealing all the changes. The expected starting ex-showroom price for this upcoming model is ₹14.5 lakh, which may go up to ₹27 lakh.
