Honda QC3 Revealed: 145 Km Range Flagship Electric Scooter to Launch in 2027

On July 24, 2026, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India unveiled the Honda QC3, a flagship electric scooter, at the Made-in-India Product Showcase, revealing the design and details. This is the third model from the company in the electric vehicle lineup after the QC1 and Activa e. Reportedly, its market launch will take place in 2027.

As of now, there’s no update on its ex-showroom price; we are expecting that it will be available for sale at a cost between ₹1.10 lakh and ₹1.25 lakh. Following the launch, it is expected to compete with the TVS iQube, the Bajaj Chetak, the Ather 450X, the Hero Vida V2, the Ola S1 Pro (Gen 3), and other electric scooters in the segment. 

It comes with a modern, clean, and minimalist front-end design featuring slim, horizontal-shaped daylight running lights on the apron. Above the DRL strip, it has a side LED blinker, and below the same, it features LED main headlamps, including high-beam and low-beam. Other notable items on the front-end are a rounded and curved matte grey mudguard with vertical amber rectangular reflectors and polygonal-shaped mirrors on the handlebar.

Seen from the sides, a single-piece seat is clearly visible; they get soft-touch upholstery to enhance the seating comfort for both rider and co-passenger. A long flat floorboard provides ample foot space for the rider and helps in carrying small luggage. A foldable footpeg is available on both sides for leg support of the pillion; black lower cladding adds contrast and runs on black alloy wheels, improving its road presence; and a side and center stand are available for parking. 

The rear boat’s grab rails on the end of the seat secure a handhold for the pillion and maneuver the scooter while parking on the center stand. Other notable things on the back are U-shaped LED taillamps, on the edges of which it has side indicators. Below the taillights and above the number plate holder, it has a horizontal-shaped reflector that makes the vehicle visible from the back to other road users even if the rear lights are turned off.

Under the seat, it has 32 liters of boot space that can easily accommodate two helmets, one for the rider and one for the pillion, when not on the ride. Between the handlebars, it has a 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster that shows all the driving-related information, including the speedometer, battery charge level, estimated remaining riding range, odometer, trip meter, riding status indicators, side stand warning, and turn indicator lights.

Notably, the screen supports Honda RoadSync smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity. It features turn-by-turn navigation, call and message notifications, and music control. It also has a small frunk (front trunk storage), which helps in carrying small items conventionally. Built on a dedicated electric scooter platform, which also underpins the QC1 already on sale in India.

Features telescopic forks as front suspension and dual rear shock absorbers as rear. They haven’t revealed the wheel size; it is likely that they measure 12 inches in diameter. Both wheels wear tubeless tires. The front wheel gets a disc brake, and the rear features a drum brake. It also features a combined braking system, which distributes braking force between the wheels and improves balance.

Most likely to get a mid-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a single-speed automatic transmission. Set to feature a fixed 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which will give the IDC range of 145 km on a full charge. All set to support fast DC charging. Reportedly, with maximum output, it will take 2 hours 40 minutes for 0 to 80 percent charging and 4 hours for the full charge.
