E3 Electric. AI, the Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup, has launched the first electric scooter, E3 Trion, in the Indian market on August 6, 2026, in a total of three variants: C1, C1x, and C2. The C1 is equipped with the 2.3 kWh removable LFP battery pack, whose IDC range is 108 km, and it costs ex-showroom Rs 99,999.
The C1x and C2 are equipped with 3 kWh fixed LFP battery packs; the range is 165 km and 128 km, respectively, on the Indian Driving Cycle. The C1x is available for sale with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.10 lakh, but the C2 is ₹10,000 costlier than the C1x; its ex-showroom price is Rs 1.20 lakh.
With the launch, the manufacturer has started taking orders through their official website for Bengaluru; for the other cities, they will start in the near future. As of now, they are offering a year of battery warranty or up to 1 lakh km, whichever comes first. In the Indian market, its main rivals are Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, and Ather Rizta.
Following its launch in New Delhi, buyers will be able to buy it with the discount of ₹30,000 for the variants equipped with the 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, thanks to Delhi EV Policy 2.0; for the 2.3 kWh variant, the maximum discount will be ₹23,000. They also don’t have to pay the registration fee and road taxes, which are waived until March 31, 2026.
Gets a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a one-speed automatic gearbox, which is mounted on the rear wheel hub. To ensure lower vibration for better stability handling, the manufacturer has equipped the PMSM with the in-house built and patented RotoRing weld-free technology.
The maximum power output for the C1 and C1x is 2.5 kW, peak torque is 120 Nm, maximum speed is 67 km/h, 0 to 40 km/h acceleration timing is 7.8 seconds, and driving modes are Eco and Power; for the C2, the same is 3.5 kW, 145 Nm, 82 km/h, 6.0 seconds, and Eco, Power, and Sport.
Variants equipped with the 2.3 kWh and 3.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack take 2.5 hours and 3.5 hours for 0 to 80 percent charging with a maximum output of 750 watts. It is built on the TRIAXISFRAME™ platform, whose front and rear suspension are telescopic forks and hydraulic shock absorbers.
Equipped with 14-inch TrakWheel™ wheels on both ends with 90/90 tires, they get a drum brake, standard in the segment, and also feature a Combined Braking System (CBS) to distribute braking force between the wheels to ensure safe braking and auto-hold, which prevents rollback on inclines.
They have introduced the model in six exterior color options, including Luna White, Teal Blue, Nova Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, and Solar Red. Upfront, it has double LED projector headlights, which illuminate the road at night; it also integrates LED daylight running lights to improve the daytime visibility of this electric scooter.
Its blinkers and taillamps are also LED to give it a modern touch. Features a single-piece seat with soft-touch upholstery, ensuring better seating comfort for the rider and pillion. For the rider’s daily Indian utility and ergonomic comfort, it has a flat and spacious footboard and features foldable footpegs for pillion leg support.
Other features that it gets are 45 liters of combined storage, including an under-seat bay, a front glove box, and a floorboard area, which helps with carrying luggage conventionally. Between the handlebars, it has a 5-inch digital display, which features turn-by-turn navigation, TripSense™ & smartphone integration, and AI diagnostics & HealthScan.
