The BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle manufacturing brand and division of German luxury carmaker BMW, has officially revealed the Jahre Nurburgring Editions for the BMW M 1000 RR, BMW M 1000 R, and BMW M 1000 XR motorcycles. Each model will go on sale in only 100 units across the globe. These newly unveiled motorcycles get exclusive aesthetic, chassis, and track-focused upgrades, which make them totally different from the standards.
What’s new in the Jahre Nurburgring Edition bikes?
All these newly unveiled motorcycles are available with the exclusive Nürburgring green paint scheme with a silhouette of the Nordschleife track map on the tank, giving it a distinct visual identity and protecting its long-term collector value; a numbered airbox cover with an official authenticity document guaranteeing the verified rarity; and a blackout swingarm and rear frames giving its rear end a factory racebike look.
Other upgrades include M Carbon-Fibre Wheels reducing rotational inertia and unsprung mass, an Alcantara-style seat with ‘100’ embroidery for enhanced rider grip during the aggressive acceleration and hard braking, and the embedded Standard M Track Package, which includes CNC-milled adjustable rearsets or levers, expanded carbon bodywork, and telemetry software.
The BMW M 1000 RR and M 1000 R additionally have an M cover kit, which seals off exposed wiring and mounting points; a rear assembly paddock stand and pins that enable rear tyres to lift off the ground for the chain lubrication, suspension tuning, and tyre changes; and an anniversary pit mat meeting the track environmental guidelines.

All three of these motorcycles, the BMW M 1000 RR, the BMW M 1000 R, and the BMW M 1000 XR, get the 999 cc inline 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine that is equipped with BMW ShiftCam technology. The ICE supports water/oil cooling and is mated with the 6-speed with Shift Assistant Pro (up or down quickshifter) and anti-hopping slipper clutch.
The peak torque for all these three motorcycles is 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm, but the power output for the M 1000 RR is 212 hp at 14,500 rpm, and the same for the M 1000 XR and M 1000 R, which are 201 hp at 12,750 rpm and 201 hp at 12,750 rpm, respectively. Any update on its launch in the Indian market and pricing?
The BMW Motorrad has officially confirmed they will launch these motorcycles on October 19, 2026, starting the booking. Reports confirm that the delivery of these bikes will begin in late 2027. The pricing for these Jahre Nurburgring Edition motorcycles will be announced with the launch; it is certain their price will be slightly higher than the standard model that is already on sale globally.
All these three motorcycles are already on sale in the Indian market, so we are anticipating that the Jahre Nurburgring Editions order booking will also be for Indian buyers; however, the official confirmation regarding the same is still pending.
