Kinetic DX 3 kWh & DX+ 3.1 kWh Launched in India: Price, Range, and Detailed Specs

Kinetic Green launched the Kinetic DX and Kinetic DX+ electric scooters in the Indian market on July 28, 2025, with the 2.6 kWh lithium-ion battery with the ex-showroom prices of ₹1,11,499 and ₹1,21,174, respectively. Almost 1 year and 1 month after the nameplate debuted, the manufacturer launched new variants for both on September 8, 2026.

The Kinetic DX is available with a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with the ex-showroom price of ₹118,599, and Kinetic DX+ with a 3.1 kWh unit with the cost of ₹127,650. For clarity, the DX with a larger battery pack is ₹7,100 costlier and DX+ is ₹6,476. Let’s have a closer look at these recently launched Kinetic electric scooters. 

Powertrain and performance.

The Kitnetic DX+ 3.1 kWh is equipped with a hub-mounted BLDC motor that delivers the 3.8 kW (5.2 bhp) power; compared to the 2.6 kWh variant, its motor power is reduced by 0.98 kW (1.31 bhp). The range on the Indian Driving Cycle is 132 km, 27 km more than the 2.6 kWh variant; the real-world range for this model may be up to 110 km.

Two driving models for the new 3.1 kWh variant are available: Range and Power. The Turbo mode, which was available for the 2.6 kWh variant, isn’t available with it. Comes with the Easy Charge™ features, i.e., get an on-board charger, which charges 0 to 80 per cent in 3 hours. For the full charger, it will take 4 hours.

The core specifications for the Kinetic DX 3 kWh variant are still pending. The report suggests that the Kinetic Green will soon unveil the core specifications for this model too. The IDC range, hub-mounted BLDC motor output, and charging time are anticipated to be similar to the DX+ variant. Notably, it comes with an off-board home charger.

Colour options and design.

No need for colour options for the Kinetic DX and DX+, the former one is still available with two options: Black and Silver, and the latter with five: Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red. Upfront, it gets handlebar-mounted LED headlamps in a horizontal shape to get clear visibility for nighttime riding and  side indicators on the sides of the headlight setup. 

Kinetic DX Red

The daylight running light in the logo space is placed on the front apron, reflecting the branding. From the sides, it has a single-piece seat with a grab rail behind the pillion, a large footboard, and foldable foot pegs for the pillion are clearly visible. It gets both side and centre stands to enhance parking practicality for all, not only elders. Its rear has a horizontally orientated taillamp on the fender that also integrates side indicators.

Dimensions and features.

The length, width and height of the Kinetic DX and DX+ electric scooters are 1,850 mm, 700 mm and 1,000 mm, respectively, with the wheelbase of 1,315 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm. Their seat length is 770 mm and height is 714 mm. Under the seat, it has a boot space of 37 litres that can easily accommodate one full-size helmet; alternatively, it can be used for carrying small items.

Sit on the 12-inch alloy wheels with 100/80 tubeless tyres. Between the handlebars, it has an 8.8-inch digital display that shows speed, trip metrics, clock, and battery diagnostics. It supports wireless connectivity via Bluetooth for call and SMS notifications, over-the-air software updates, and turn-by-turn navigation. 

It underpins heavy-duty all-metal chassis construction, whose front and rear suspensions are telescopic forks and 5-step adjustable twin shock absorbers, respectively. Its front wheel gets a 220 mm solid disc, and the rear gets a 130 mm drum with the combined braking system that disturbs the braking force between the wheels.
