4 Upcoming Renault Cars in India by 2027 – Duster Hybrid to Bridger

Four cars from Renault are all set to be introduced to the Indian market by 2027. These four vehicles are the Renault Duster Hybrid, the Renault 7-Seat SUV, the Renault Kwid Facelift, and the Renault Bridger. The launch for the first one is anticipated to happen in Diwali 2026; the second may arrive by early 2027, the third’s launch is likely by mid-2027, and the last one by late 2027. Let’s have a closer look at each of these upcoming cars in India.

Renault Duster Hybrid

The Renault Duster Hybrid comes with the E-Tech 160 Strong Hybrid system, getting a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated petrol-powered ICE and two electric motors under the hood; the motor and engine are mated with an 8-speed dedicated hybrid transmission. A battery pack of 1.4 kWh is available beneath the floor that supports self-charging via regenerative braking and helps with improving efficiency. 

The length, width, and height are 4,346 mm, 1,815 mm, and 1,701 mm, respectively, with a 2,657 mm wheelbase and 212 mm ground clearance. Features: roof rails with 50 kg load capacity, up to 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric panoramic sunroof, and a powered tailgate. Its cabin has a 10.1-inch openR Link touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. 

Renault 7-Seat SUV

The report confirms that Renault is working on a seven-seater SUV for the Indian market, whose nameplate is still undisclosed. This car may debut in the Indian market with both pure-petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains. Its exterior design will resemble the Duster family’s rugged SUV character with the LED headlamps and DRLs, wide front air intake, and vertical bumper air vents.

Its cabin will have a large touchscreen infotainment system at the center of the dashboard, which features connected-car technology, a Google built-in system, and wireless smartphone connectivity. A digital instrument cluster under the steering wheel, wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.

Renault Kwid Facelift

The Renault Kwid may soon get a facelift, whose design may be similar to the one recently unveiled in Brazil. For the Indian market, there may be a few tweaks and changes to make it more appealing for the Indian buyers. The one which recently went on sale in the Brazilian market has a new front grille with vertical elements, Renault’s latest 3D diamond logo, and many upgrades on the sides and at the rear.

The Brazilian-spec model has got a totally new dashboard with a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides the interior and exterior design and features upgrades, the facelift will remain an exterior, meaning there will be no changes to its underpinning, dimensions, and powertrain.

Renault Bridger

The Renault Bridger is an upcoming sub-4-meter SUV that is highly awaited by the auto enthusiasts in India. The concept version of this car has already been unveiled in March 2026, and the global debut of this car will happen at the launch event. In Renault’s portfolio, this compact SUV measuring around 3995 mm will place it between the Renault Kiger and the Renault Duster. 

The report suggests that this car won’t only come with the internal combustion engine; they are planning to launch it with another powertrain too. The strong hybrid and also a pure electric are expected to be introduced to rival HEVs and EVs in the segment in the Indian market. They have planned to introduce the car, also a safe vehicle with a 5-star safety rating for Indian families, with up to six airbags and other smart features.
