At the 2026 Indonesia International Auto Show, the Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki showcased a facelift of the Suzuki XL7, a seven-seater crossover multi-purpose vehicle, revealing its exterior; it is closely related to the Maruti Suzuki XL6, which is already on sale in the Indian market with the ex-showroom price starting from ₹11.57 lakh and going up to ₹14.53 lakh.
The carmaker has made multiple changes to its exterior and also inside. Outside, it now has a larger and bolder black front grille with a new design giving a more modern appearance, a sharper front bumper to make it more appealing, new C-shaped fog lamp housings to make its front end slightly fresher than the outgoing one, and Ice Grayish Blue with Black double-tone body color.
Inside, it now gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which is integrated with Arkamy’s premium sound system to ensure an immersive audio experience inside the cabin. Other upgrades inside the cabin are a 360-degree camera and digital video recorder.
Notably, it is known as XL7 in Indonesia because it features a seating capacity of seven people in a 2-3-2 layout and XL6 in India because it is available as a six-seater in a 2-2-2 seating arrangement. Reportedly, with all these changes and upgrades and a few more tweaks, the XL6 facelift will debut in the Indian market with similar pricing to the existing one.
In Indonesia, the XL7 has been available for sale since February 2020. After the launch, it got the Alpha FF special edition in March 2022, the Hybrid in June 2023, and now the facelift has debuted on July 30, 2026, and started sales. They have introduced a total of five variants, including two with automatic transmission and three with manual transmission. Refer to the table below for prices in IDR, INR, and USD.

Its main rivals in the Indonesian market are the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, the Toyota Veloz, and the Honda BR-V. Besides the above upgrades inside the cabin and on the exterior, all others remain the same. Dimensionally, it still measures 4,450 mm in length, 1,775 mm wider, and 1,710 mm taller. The wheelbase, ground clearance, boot space after folding the rear seat, and fuel tank capacity remain 2,740 mm, 200 mm, 803 liters, and 45 liters, respectively.
Under the hood, it gets a 1.5-liter K15B 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine, whose displacement is 1,462 cc and fuel injection system is multi-point. Notably, it generates the maximum power of 105 PS (103 hp or 77 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Its top-end variant gets the Suzuki SHVS mild-hybrid system with an integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery to improve efficiency.
It comes with two different gearbox options, which are a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. The drivetrain of all variants is front-wheel drive, and fuel efficiency is up to 20.2 kmpl in ideal conditions. To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, it takes 12.9 seconds with automatic transmission; the manual takes around 15 seconds, and the top speed is 170 km/h with both automatic and manual gearboxes.
