Maruti Suzuki June 2026 Sales Cross 2 Lakh Units: Up 19% YoY

The Indian automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has officially released the sales figures for June 2026; they sold a total of 200,390 units, including 147,187 domestic passenger vehicle dispatches, 42,768 exports, 7,472 Toyota OEM supplies, and 2,963 Super Carry light commercial vehicles. 

Compared to May 2026 and June 2025, the overall sales of Maruti Suzuki in June 2026 decreased by 42,298 units, registering a month-on-month degrowth of 17.43%, and increased by 32,397 units, recording a year-on-year growth of 19.28%, respectively.

On a month-on-month basis, the sales of domestic passenger vehicles and the Super Carry LCV have decreased by 43,150 units with a 22.68% decline and 235 units with a 7.35% decline, respectively, and exports and Toyota OEM supplies have increased by 854 units with a 2.04% increase and 233 units with a 3.22% increase, respectively.

But on a year-on-year basis, the sales for domestic passenger vehicles, exports, and the Super Carry LCV have increased by 28,275 units with 23.79% growth; 4,926 with 13.2%; and 530 with 21.79%, respectively, and Toyota OEM supplies have decreased by 1,340 units, a 15.21% decline.

The carmaker also has released the segment-wise sale figures for June 2026. Out of total sales of 147,187 units of the domestic passenger vehicle, 11,416 are for the mini segment, including Alto and S-Presso; 63,815 for compact and mid-size, including Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, and WagonR; 61,726 for utility vehicles, including Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris, and XL6; and 10,230 for vans, including Eeco.

The model-wise sale figures for June 2026 are yet to be revealed. In May 2026, the top-selling model was the Dzire, with sales of 24,556 units and a 12.90% share of total sales. As sales for domestic passenger vehicles are down compared to May 2026, we are expecting that in June 2026 sales will be around 20,000 units.

The second best-selling model was the Fronx with 20,686 units and 10.78% total share; third was the Ertiga with 20,350 and 10.69%; fourth was the Baleno with 18,396 and 9.66%; fifth was the Wagon R with 18,075 and 9.5%; sixth was the Swift with 17,519 and 9.2%; seventh was the Brezza with 13,425 and 7.05%; eighth was the Eeco with 12,240 and 6.96%; ninth was the Vitara with 10,853 and 5.7%; and tenth was the Alto with 9,887 and 5.19%.

In 2026, they launched one model that is the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, which is available for sale in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price between ₹15.99 lakh and ₹20.01 lakh. It is a pure electric vehicle, which is offered with two lithium-ion battery packs that are 49 kWh and 61 kWh; the first one gives the ARAI-certified range of 440 km, and the second one runs up to 543 km.

Get a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front axle with a one-speed automatic gearbox featuring a front-wheel drivetrain, which generates the maximum power of 142 bhp and 172 bhp with the standard and large battery pack, but the peak torque for both is 193 Nm. The acceleration timing for 0 to 100 km/h is 8.7 to 9.6 seconds.

The carmaker has officially announced that it will launch the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza on July 23, 2026. It is going to be a refreshed version of the model already available for sale in India; the upcoming version will make its debut with many upgrades and improvements, and even a new ICE is expected to be offered.
