Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the facelift of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza in July 2026; it is set to be known as the 2026 model. The carmaker will introduce it with the exterior and interior upgrades and a new internal combustion engine option to the domestic market, with the ex-showroom price between 9 and 15 lakh rupees.
Following the launch, it will compete with the Mahindra XUV 3XO, the Kia Sonet, the Hyundai Venue, and the Tata Nexon. Outside, it is expected to get a slightly upgraded grille, giving a more modern appearance; an updated bumper enhancing the front-end view; new alloy wheels giving a bolder road presence; and revised DRLs increasing the aesthetic.
Inside, it may get an updated infotainment system with a smooth user interface, faster wireless connectivity and a revised digital instrument cluster for a clearer view of driving data. Upholstery for seats and trims, dashboard, and doors are also expected to be enhanced, and expanded connected car technology and ADAS features.
Reportedly, the carmaker will introduce the vehicle with the 988 cc 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol-powered internal combustion engine with two gearbox options that are five-speed manual and six-speed automatic and a front-wheel-drive drivetrain option. It is expected to deliver 100 PS power and 148 Nm torque.

The turbocharged petrol-powered ICE in Brezza may provide better performance for everyday driving and make it more appealing in the segment. With the smaller engine, it will attract lower taxes, which will potentially help Maruti Suzuki to improve competitiveness in the segment.
Notably, the carmaker won’t discontinue the option of a 1,462 cc 1.5 liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol-powered internal combustion engine. It is offered with two transmission options, a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic, and a single drivetrain that is front-wheel drive.
It delivers 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque, which makes the 0 to 60 km/h acceleration under 5 seconds, and top speed goes up to 160 km/h. They will also continue the CNG variant with a 5-speed manual transmission, which comes with the same 1.5-litre NA ICE but generates the power of 88 PS and torque of 121.5 Nm.
The ARAI-certified mileage is 20.1 km/l and 19.8 km/l with manual and automatic transmission, respectively, but the CNG variant has a fuel efficiency of 25.5 km/kg. Mileage details for the new 1.0-litre turbo ICE are still undisclosed; it is expected that with either transmission, the Brezza may run up to 15 km to 17 km per litre of fuel.
No changes to dimensions are reported, meaning in terms of size and practicality, the Brezza is set to remain the same. The length, width, and height are set to be 3995 mm, 1790 mm, and 1685 mm, respectively. The wheelbase will measure 2500 mm, and ground clearance will be 198 mm.

It comes with the same seating capacity of 5 people in 2-3, as there will be no dimensional changes, so the boot space is set to remain the same as the outgoing model’s. The pure petrol variant has a boot space of 328 litres, but the CNG variant has 250 litres.
