5 Most Affordable 350cc Bikes in India: RE Hunter to Honda CB350C Ranked
In India, there are dozens of motorcycle models from different manufacturers that are offered with the 350cc engine, but only a few of them are those which are actually available at affordable pricing. In the segment, the five most affordable options are the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda CB350C. The ex-showroom price and key specifications are shared below for each of these motorcycles.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The Hunter 350 is available in four variants that are Base, Base Premium, Mild and Top, whose ex-showroom price is ₹137,640 to ₹169,810. Offered with a 349.34 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke air-oil cooled engine, which is mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox, whose power output is 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and peak torque is 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
Features an ARAI-certified mileage of 36.2 kmpl, with a fuel tank of 13 litres, giving the claimed range of 470.6 km. The kerb weight for the standard variant is 177 kg, but the top-end has 181 kg. Its seat height is 790 mm, giving an ideal seating position for individuals between the heights of 5’2″ and 5’6″ (157 cm and 167 cm), and a ground clearance of 150.5 mm is ideal for tackling the potholes.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350

The Bullet 350 is also available in four variants, which are named ‘Military’, ‘Battalion Black’, ‘Standard’ and ‘Black Gold’. Its ex-showroom prices start from ₹1,64,423 and go up to ₹2,08,012. Powered by a 349 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke air-oil-cooled J-series engine that is bolted with a 5-speed constant mesh. It generates the peak power and torque of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4000 rpm.
It is built on a Twin downtube spine frame, whose front suspension is telescopic with 41 mm forks that feature 130 mm travel, and the rear is twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers featuring six-step adjustable preload. Braking is managed by 300 mm and 270 mm discs for the standard and last two variants, but the first two get 153 mm drums for rear braking. Its kerb weight is 195 kg, it features a fuel tank of 13 litres, and its seat height is 805 mm.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

The Pulsar NS400Z costs ex-showroom between 1,80,092 and 1,93,900 rupees. Notably, it has a 349.13 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine; the maximum power of the same is 40 bhp at 9,000 rpm, and peak torque is reported as 33.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mounted with a 6-speed manual transmission in the pattern of 1 up and 5 downs, which features assist and a slipper clutch.
A high-rigidity perimeter frame is used to build the motorcycle; the front and rear suspension are 43 mm upside-down (USD) forks and a gas-charged monoshock featuring preload adjustability to ensure a smooth riding experience. It also makes the pillion seating comfortable. Notably, all variants are equipped with disc brakes to ensure powerful braking. Also features four riding modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road.
Royal Enfield Classic 350

The Class 350 is available for sale in six variants, namely, Redditch, Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and Chrome. The standard one is available with an ex-showroom price of ₹185,854, and the top-end costs ₹221,393. It also gets a 349 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke air-oil-cooled J-series engine featuring electronic fuel injection, and it is mated with a 5-speed constant mesh manual.
The power output of the engine is 20.21 PS at 6,100 rpm, and peak torque is 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The front wheel braking is managed by a 300 mm disc, and the rear with both a drum in the standard and a disc in the top-end variant. The options of both spoke and alloy are available; one may opt depending on need. The seat height, ground clearance and kerb weight are 195 kg, 170 mm and 805 mm, respectively.
Honda CB350C

The CB350C is available in three variants that are DLX, DLX Pro and Special Edition; its ex-showroom price is between ₹197,800 and ₹202,241. It has a 348.36 cc 4-stroke air-cooled SI engine, which is mated with the 5-speed manual featuring assist and slipper clutch. The power output is 21.07 PS at 5,500 rpm, and the peak torque is 29.5 Nm at 3,000 rpm. Its real-world mileage is 40 kmpl, and the fuel injection system is PGM-FI.
It comes with a fuel tank of 15.2 litres, and the reserve capacity is 3 litres. The kerb weight of 186 kg can be handled easily by an experienced rider. The seat height is 800 mm, and the length is 687 mm, which is made of soft-touch materials to ensure better comfort for both rider and pillion. The wheelbase is 1441 mm and is good for stability at high speeds, and a ground clearance of 165 mm is decent for easily passing the speed breaker.
