Tata Nexon Pure+ PS Launched: Panoramic Sunroof From ₹9.59 Lakh

India’s leading carmaker, Tata Motors, launched a new variant, Pure+ PS, for one of its compact SUVs, the Tata Nexon. The newly introduced variant is available in 5 trims that include Petrol MT, Petrol AMT, CNG MT, Diesel MT and Diesel AMT, whose ex-showroom prices are ₹9.59 lakh, ₹10.14 lakh, ₹10.39 lakh, ₹10.54 lakh and ₹11.19 lakh, respectively.

The main highlight of the new variant is that it comes with a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, enabling it to open and close with a command in natural language. With its launch, it became the first SUV in India in the ₹10 lakh segment that offered a panoramic sunroof, which is usually found with the top trim.

Notably, the Pure+ PS isn’t a new model but a new addition to the Pure+ line-up. The variant has been launched to celebrate the milestone of 10 lakh cumulative sales of the Nexon. Now, it is all set to give more tough competition to Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kamiq, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza

It offers a spacious 5-seater cabin layout. The rear seats are upholstered in soft-touch materials. Front seats feature adjustable headrests.

It features rear wipers for better visibility, powered windows and ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) featuring auto-fold, rear AC vents to keep the passenger cool during the hot weather, push-button start for convenience, USB charging ports, and Bluetooth connectivity for remote control.

The car has received a safety rating of 5 stars in Bharat NCAP as well as Global NCAP. Its cabin is equipped with 6 airbags, including driver, front passenger, side airbags and curtain airbags, which play a crucial role in saving the lives of occupants during the accident.

For safety, it gets ESP, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, rear parking sensors and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. Now, move to its powertrain, performance and mileage.

The petrol trims get a 1.2 litre turbo-petrol 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1199 cc, whose power output and peak torque are 118 bhp and 170 Nm. It is offered with three different gearbox options that are 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT. It has a fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl.
