5 Best Bikes Under ₹2 Lakh in India 2026: Pulsar NS400Z to KTM 200 Duke
In the Indian market, there are many powerful motorcycles from national and international manufacturers which are available under the ex-showroom price of ₹2 lakh that are claimed to be powerful bikes. Among them, only a few are those which actually give value for the money with their performance and features.
These motorcycles are the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, Hero Xtreme 250R, Triumph Speed T4, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and KTM 200 Duke. Let’s take a closer look at these motorcycles.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

The Pulsar NS400Z is a naked streetfighter, which is available with the ex-showroom price of ₹180,092 in New Delhi in four colour options that are Brooklyn Black, Glossy Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White and Pewter Grey. Equipped with the 349.13cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve DOHC engine, whose power output is 40.6 PS and peak torque is 33.2 Nm.
It features a 6-speed manual gearbox with the assist and slipper clutch. The acceleration timing from 0 to 60 km/h is 2.7 seconds, and its top speed goes up to 158 km. Its ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is 34 kmpl; with the fuel tank of 14 litres, it gives a range of 476 km. The front brake is a 320 mm disc, and the rear is a 230 mm disc; it features double-channel ABS and switchable traction control.
Hero Xtreme 250R

The Xtreme 250R is a sport bike that is available with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.69 lakh. It features a 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine that is bolted to the 6-speed constant mesh gearbox, whose displacement is 249.03 cc, power output is 30 PS and peak torque is 25 Nm. It sprints from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.2 seconds, and maximum speed is 130 km/h.
It has ARAI-certified mileage of 36 kmpl. With a 11.5-litre full tank, it gives a range of 445 km. Features LED lighting at both ends and a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Triumph Speed T4
The Speed T4 Neo-Retro Roadster, in New Delhi, cost ex-showroom ₹1.95 lakh. It is powered by a 398.15cc liquid-cooled 4-valve DOHC single-cylinder engine, mounted with the 6-speed gearbox, featuring a torque-assist and slipper clutch. It generates the power of 30.6 PS at 7,000 rpm and torque of 36 Nm at 5,000 rpm. To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds, and top speed is 137 km/h.
It comes with the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 30 km/l; it has a fuel tank of 13 litres, meaning with the full tank it gives a range of 390 km. For safety, both tyres get disc brakes with double-channel ABS. The front brake comes with a four-piston ByBre radially mounted calliper and the rear with the single-piston floating ByBre calliper; shoe diameter is 300 mm and 230 mm, respectively.
Suzuki Gixxer 250
The Gixxer 250 is a street bike; in the Indian market, it is available with the ex-showroom price of ₹1.81 lakh. It comes with a 249cc single-cylinder 4-stroke oil-cooled SOHC 4-valve engine, whose power output is 26.5 PS at 9,300 rpm and peak torque is 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm.
