Lynk & Co 900 5-Seater Launched: 724 hp PHEV from $43,938 with 1,363 km Range
Lynk & Co, a subsidiary of Geely (which also recently started presales for the Smart #6 EHD), has launched the five-seater version of the 900, its flagship top-tier plug-in hybrid vehicle. Following the recent Lynk & Co 10 & 10+ presale announcement. It is introduced in three variants, which are 1.5T Halo, 1.5T Ultra, and 2.0T Ultra, whose prices are CN¥299,800 (US$43,938), CN¥325,800 (US$47,750), and CN¥345,800 (US$50,680).
The automakers have also started a limited-time trade-in discount offer; by trading an old car, one can get resale value and a new car at a big discount. The pricing is CN¥254,800 (US$37,343), CN¥280,800 (US$41,154), and CN¥300,800 (US$44,085) for 1.5T Halo, 1.5T Ultra, and 2.0T Ultra, respectively.
The five-seater version of the Lynk & Co 900 is built on the brand’s SPA Evo architecture that is dedicated for hybrids with a focus on better legroom for rear-seating passengers and large boot space for carrying big cargo. Its main competitors in the Chinese market are the Geely Galaxy M9 and Aito M9. While it sits slightly above the Best SUVs Under $40K, its premium features justify the jump.
Exterior & Dimension

The exterior comes with the futuristic ‘Urban Opposite Aesthetic’ design language. Up front, it comes with a split LED headlamp setup; the headlight is placed lower and DRLs are upper, which reflects signature Lynk & Co. lighting. Up front it gets more than 10,000+ LED units for the animations.
On the sides, it features a long body with a clean surface. Doors’ windows get frameless mirrors for premium styling and flush-type handles on doors to reduce drag, which helps in improving efficiency. And gets large alloy wheels for better road grip.
The back comes with a full-width LED light bar with customizable lighting animations for a high-tech look and a wide and flat tailgate for a simple appearance. The dimensions in terms of length, width, and height are 5,240 mm, 1,999 mm, and 1,810 mm, respectively; the wheelbase is 3,160 mm; and ground clearance is 194 mm.
Interior & Features

The interior features a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2 and 3 and a boot space of 1020 liters that helps in carrying multiple big pieces of luggage. Folding the seat increases the cargo space significantly, which makes it capable of holding a big amount of luggage.
The cabin is equipped with a 30-inch 6K central display as an infotainment system that acts as the control center of the cabin, as all the functions are touch-based; a 12.66-inch LCD instrument cluster under the steering wheel; and a 95-inch AR Head-Up Display that projects driving data on the windshield and helps the driver stay focused on driving without getting distracted.
There’s also a 30-inch screen for rear-seating passengers; it is mounted on the ceiling. Then run on the Flyme Auto 2 operating system with Dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processors. It supports Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Android Auto for wireless connectivity and remote control. It comes with a 23-speaker standard sound system for an immersive sound experience inside the cabin.
The seats are made up of nappa leather with soft touch-based; they come with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Other notable features are 256-color RGB ambient lighting, which syncs with music rhythm; two 50W wireless phone charging pads; a 9L built-in refrigerator with the temperature ranging from -6°C to 50°C; and a PM2.5 filter.
It features ADAS with a total of 29 sensors, including 126-line LiDAR, 5 radars, 11 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, which make the driving quite stress-free and autonomous. Depending on the variant, it comes with the Nvidia Orin-X and Nvidia Drive Thor with computing power of 254 TOPS and 700 TOPS, respectively, featuring both city and highway NOA.
Powertrain & Performance
The engine options are 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol and 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol. It is available with two drivetrains, single-motor RWD and double-motor AWD. The transmission for all is single-speed automatic.
The power output for the 2.0T Ultra variant is 724 hp, and peak torque is 1,038 Nm.
Its acceleration timing is 4.6 seconds, and top speed goes up to 240 km/h, and features a 52.38 kWh battery pack, whose only-electric CLTC range is 280 km; the overall range, including a full tank and full battery charge, is 1363 km. It supports fast charging, and with maximum capacity, it takes only 17 minutes for 20 to 80 percent charging.
