Avatr Launches 06T With Up to 955 hp Tri-Motor Setup and 741 km Electric Range
The Avatr, a joint venture of Changan, Huawei, and CLTC, has launched the 06T, a five-door waggon, on April 22, 2026. It is available in five variants, whose prices range from 219,900 to 279,900 in Chinese yuan, which translates to 31,900 to 40,600 in United States dollars.
The car is available in pure-electric and extended-range electric powertrains; it comes with a seating capacity of 5 people in a layout of 2-3, and its dimensions in terms of length, width, height and wheelbase are 4,940 mm, 1,960 mm, 1,455 mm and 2,940 mm, respectively.
BEV & EREV Powertrains
The pure-electric variant is available with a two-electric-motor and three-electric-motor setup; the first one gets one motor on the front axle and another at the rear, and the latter gets one on the front axle and two on the rear. The drivetrain for both is all-wheel drive, and the transmission is single-speed automatic.
- One with a single-motor setup comes with two LPF battery packs, which are 72.88 kWh and 87.3 kWh, whose maximum power output is 450 kW (603 hp) and 502 kW (673 hp), respectively, and the CLTC range is 652 km for the standard battery pack and 741 km for the larger. The acceleration timing is 3.74 to 4 seconds, depending on the variant, and top speed goes up to 200 km.
- Another, which comes with a triple-motor setup, comes with a single LPF battery pack of 87.3 kWh, whose range is 680 km. It generates the power of 712 kW (955 hp), and the acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is 2.78 seconds, and its top speed is also 200 km/h because it is electrically limited.
The electric architecture is 800-volt and supports 6C fast charging, which adds the CLTC range of 400 km with 10 minutes of charging.
The extended-range variant comes with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and it also gets two electric motors, one on the front axle and another one on the rear, meaning it all features an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration. It gets a 45.06 kWh LPF battery, whose CLTC-range only-electric range is 300 km, and the overall range is 1250 km.
Up to 21-Inch Alloy Wheels

The car features the Avatr 2.0 Future Sports Aesthetics design language, which is inspired by a driving falcon. Up front, it gets a split headlights setup. The slim dual-strip DRLs make its front fascia more futuristic and premium, and the closed-off grill gives it modern style. On the sides, it gets a long roofline, a fastback-style slope, flush-type door handles, digital side mirrors, and 20-21 inch large alloy wheels.
Its rear has a full-width LED taillight that creates a wide stance, a roof spoiler for a sporty look, and a sloping rear windscreen to reflect the wagon identity. The roof has LiDAR sensors that work with ADAS and make the car semi-autonomous and panoramic glass for premiumness. The available colour options are Solar Bronze, Skylight Silk, Glossy Black, Glossy Grey, Glossy White and Misty Purple.
Gets 35.4-Inch 4K Display

The interior features an embracing cockpit with three themes: Twilight Purple/Smoke White, Deep Purple, and Dai Red. It is equipped with a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display, which includes infotainment that acts as the control panel of the cabin and a digital instrument cluster which shows all the driving data; they run on Huawei HarmonyOS.
It gets zero-gravity front seats, which come with heated, ventilated and massage functions. The 64-colour ambient light is available with 100 brightness levels, which modes during nighttime. Also features an advanced air purification system, which includes ionisation, deodorisation and humidity balance. The vehicle gets the Huawei Qiankun ADS 4 system, which is one of the most advanced AI driving systems.
