It is available for sale in the Indian market with the launch; the ex-showroom price for this recently launched vehicle starts from ₹8.32 lakh. Its main rivals in the Indian market are the Toyota Glanza CNG and Tata Altroz CNG AMT.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG AMT is available for sale in two variants; they are Delta and Zeta. The former one is available for sale with the ex-showroom price of ₹8.32 lakh and a letter with ₹9.32 lakh. Compared to the pure-petrol version, they are just ₹82,500 costlier. Dimensions and exterior.
The length, width, and height of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG AMT are 3,990 mm, 1,745 mm, and 1,500 mm, respectively, whose wheelbase measures 2,520 mm and ground clearance stands at 170 mm. Its wheelbase is one of the best among the rivals, giving much better seating comfort, and even its ground clearance is ideal for helping this vehicle to pass the road with the potholes and speed breakers.
Outside, this car has a sculpted bonnet with a wide grille giving it a modern appearance, projector headlights illuminating the road, and LED daylight running lights enhancing the daytime visibility of this vehicle. Powertrain and performance.
Under the hood, it gets a Z12E 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated, petrol-powered internal combustion engine that is mated with a five-speed automated manual transmission. The power output is 70 hp and peak torque is 102 Nm. It has both: a petrol tank and a CNG cylinder.
The drivetrain of this car is front-wheel-drive, and CNG efficiency is 34.47 km per kg; compared to CNG MT, it is 0.86 km per kg more fuel-efficient. The top speed and acceleration timing for 0 to 60 kmph are still pending; these figures are expected to remain the same as the CNG MT variant.
Interior features and technology.
The dashboard gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system at the centre, which supports wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Behind the steering wheel, it has a multi-information display with analogue-style instrumentation that shows all driving data.
Other features inside the cabin are push-button ICE start and stop for convenience, automatic climate control with dedicated rear air conditioning vents to keep the occupants cool, a multi-USB charging port for phone charging, Suzuki Connect connected-car features for smartphone-car linking via application, and a premium sound system for a better audio experience inside the cabin.
For the occupants’ safety, this car gets a total of six airbags that save lives in case of collisions. Other things that are introduced as safety features are ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, Hill-hold assist, Electronic Stability Program, seat-belt reminder, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
