Hero Motocorp seems to launch a new adventure motorcycle for the Indian market. A Reddit user, ‘xtremeAnkit’, has shared an image of a new Hero’s two-wheeler that looks like a smaller adventure bike, which they patented in India last month. The image floating online shows the motorcycle without any catalogue. The bike seems to be standing at the showroom, reflecting that it’s a production model.
In the spied image, the rear end of the motorcycle is clearly visible and also a few parts of the sides. Notably, the rear profile of this bike is quite similar to the recently patented model and also similar to one that was spotted testing on public roads back in May 2025. The spy shots show this motorcycle bike in red colour; in some angles it also looks orange. Other details that clearly visible are:
- Up-swept exhaust for better ground clearance and off-roading capabilities,
- Long fuel tank with tank shrouds,
- Grab the rail behind the pillion seating area.
- LED taillamps beneath the pillion seat, and
- Rear fender-mounted side indicators and number plate holder.
The patent image already confirmed that it will have a single-piece seat, spoked 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with the disc brakes, projector headlights, and front beak. The conventional telescopic forks with rubber fork gaiters as front suspension and Monoshock as rear are clearly visible. The double-channel anti-locking braking system is also certain with switchable rear.
In a previous report, we talked about the Impulse, to which the recently spotted motorcycle design resembles. Reports suggest that the Impulse nameplate may be revived with the launch of this all new smaller adventure bike. The manufacturer hasn’t officially revealed anything about this upcoming motorcycle.
Some reports even claim this adventure motorcycle will be positioned below the XPulse 200 with a 159cc single-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion engine and named as Impulse 160. Its launch in the Indian market is anticipated in the last quarter of 2026, around the festive season.

Hero currently sells three adventure motorcycles in the Indian market, which are the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, Hero Xpulse 200 Pro, and Hero Xpulse 210, with the starting prices of ₹1.48 lakh, ₹1.56 lakh, and ₹1.62 lakh, respectively. Besides the upcoming smaller adventure bike, about whom we have discussed above; there also will be a larger adventure motorcycle: Hero Xpulse 421.
The Hero Xpulse 200 4V gets a 199.6 cc single-cylinder 4-valve oil-cooled petrol-powered internal combustion engine that is mated with a five-speed manual transmission, which delivers 19.1 bhp and 17.35 Nm. Its front suspension is a telescopic fork with 190 mm travel, and the rear is an adjustable monoshock. The ground clearance is 220 mm, and the seat height is 825 mm.
On the other hand, the Hero Xpulse 200 Pro has the same powertrain as the Hero Xpulse 200 4V, but both suspensions are adjustable. The front suspension is a telescopic fork with 250 mm travel, and the rear is a monoshock with 220 mm. Its ground clearance is 270 mm, and its kerb weight is 161 kg. This motorcycle is designed for riders who prioritise trail riding and rough terrain.
Lastly, the Hero Xpulse 210 is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled petrol-petrol ICE with six-speed manual transmission, whose power output is 24.6 PS at 9,250 rpm and peak torque is 20.7 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Its front and rear suspension are 41 mm telescopic forks with 210 mm travel and gas-charged adjustable monoshocks with linkage with 205 mm travel.
These all-terrain motorcycles from Hero Motocorp have 13-litre fuel tanks; the first two support oil cooling, and the last one is liquid. The Xpulse 200 4V, Xpulse 200 Pro, and Xpulse 210 are positioned in the Indian market as dual-sport, off-road, and adventure touring motorcycles, respectively.
